Biography
Andrew is a California Family Law Specialist, certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. Less than 3% of all attorney's in the State of California ever achieve certification as a legal specialist.
Andrew graduated from Trinity Law School in Orange County with his Juris Doctor and immediately passed the Bar Exam. He became a licensed attorney in the State of California in 2007. After law school, and the Bar, Andrew enrolled in the Master of Laws (LL.M.) program at California Western School of Law in San Diego, wherein he graduated with this advanced law degree in the summer of 2008.
Andrew was briefly with the Office of the Federal Public Defender in Los Angeles, and had his own private practice in Orange, CA, before moving to San Jose in December 2008 to join Mr. Moreno's firm. Andrew's background in criminal defense, high conflict family law litigation, and civil appeals is a great asset to this firm. He is also an allied attorney with the Alliance Defense Fund, which provides pro bono litigation assistance in the area of civil rights, free exercise of religion, and free speech.
Prior to begining his legal career, Andrew spent nearly fifteen (15) years in upper management in the areas of operations, manufacturing, and logistics. He has worked in those capacities for companies such as W.W. Grainger, Ingram Micro, ConAgra, eSystems Design, NEC Logistics, Swell Commerce, and Hot Topic. During this time, he was directly responsible for hundreds of employees, oversight of several technical or service related groups, and operational budgets in the tens of millions of dollars per year. One of his crowning achievements was the complete redesign of the physical operations of and the implementation of those new systems. Andrew was also previously certified as an ISO 9000 auditor.
Andrew is originally from Orange County, CA, where he met his wonderful wife, Michelle. He is the proud father of two young boys and one daughter. In addition to spending his free time time with his family, Andrew is a certified gunsmith, loves to play video games, and is an avid movie goer.
