Client (Father) first came to me with an order that he only have weekend supervised visitation with his children. The children were being neglected while in Mother's care. Through careful litigation ... and investigation, we were able to secure a reversal of child custody. Now, my client (Father) has sole legal and sole physical custody of both children. Mother has no visitation with the minor children pending resolution of her serious psychological issues.

OUTCOME: Relocation denied; Sole custody to Father

Our firm represented Father in opposition to Mother's attempt to permanently relocate the minor children to Taiwan. The relocation was supported by the court appointed child custody evaluator. This ... case ultimately required six days of trial and the testimony of three expert witnesses. Complex issues regarding the Hague Convention of 1980 on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction were at the forefront of this trial. Mother ultimately attempted to abduct the minor children and flee to Taiwan.

I was able to petition the court to lift this firearms restriction as related to military duty, thereby clearing the way for him to join the Army.
