This attorney threw my case, did not prepare at all, come to find out I could have fought for my child's rights, as well as my own. With someone who would care to see what was happening. Wasted $10k and my child will suffer for it continuously. Will take all and walk away. Will manipulate you.... DANGEROUS.

I retained Miss Schwartz to assist me in a family law matter earlier this year between myself and my children's father. I did a majority of the research for this case myself, and was told the entire time by both Miss Schwartz and her paralegal that we had a solid case. I had two in depth conversatio...ns with Miss Schwartz assuring me that going forward we had everything we needed and assuring me she knew all aspects of my case. The day of our court appearance she informed me that she had a feeling there would not be enough evidence to move forward and that I should just settle. I was dumbfounded and super upset because I had been told for months that we had a solid case and I shelled out thousands of dollars to have this woman as my attorney. I feel as though I could have represented myself much better than I was represented in court that day. I feel that her caseload is too heavy to take on any new clients, and that my case got shoved to the bottom of her workload.

I hired Mrs. Schwartz for a restraining order matter I gave my retainer of $4000 and I was passed from partner to partner in the office the paralegal was very nice and answered my questions however every single time we went to court my case was continued even though I was prepared to move forward eve...ry single time with a witness who showed up every single time to court with me keep in mind he took off work three times to go to court on my behalf and the case was continued three different times. Long story short after three continuations and several meetings with them my entire retainer was blown through. I received no results whatsoever and had to eventually settle out of court. She worked with the opposing counsel on some back door deal where my ex would pay her more money supposedly my legal fees that were owed to her after my retainer was completely gone through with absolutely no results whatsoever that were racked up because of the constant continuances I am very disappointed with this office and I received no results whatsoever from them only a debt of $4000 that I am still paying back to the bank. They did nothing for me and were unprepared to move forward three separate times it should have gone to trial after the first court hearing not continued and continued and continued. I would not recommend this office at all whatsoever. Unless you just want to throw away money.

she was so unprepared for trial in a juvenile matter that it cost me. my parental rights were taken away. All because she was moving her office and had the case continued already 2 times. she never met with me after getting the initial payment from me. I told her I wanted to go all the way to trial, ...I even had her change her contract because it said it did not include trial. She told me she would meet with me and my wife to go over the testimony before trial but when the date came she had not talked to me or my wife at all about our testimony. so she did not even ask for me to take the stand. I was so pissed. and had never been through a juvenile court case before. It should have not been a hard case either. My teenage son was accusing me of hitting him when I tried to subdue him. My wife and I were both there and were testifying that he was out of control selling drugs ,running with a gang, and was 51/50ed. he had run away before trial so was not there to accuse or make statement and the CPS worker was on vacation. So the case should have been open and shut. But as a hired attorney she did not stand up for my right to a trail. The judge had even gone over the allotted days that she had to bring it to trial. she gave me half my money back but that does not make up for the stress that my other 4 kids had to go through or my family. I should have been able to have my day in court so to speak.

Catherine, Michael, and Shannon were so helpful and paitent. I never had needed the services of an attorney before..but they made it comfortable and easy. They treated me like a friend. I would definately recommend them for their attention to detail, caring and warm attitude, exceptional knowledge, ...confidence in my case, and their professionalism. Thanks to them I have peace of mind.
