I became a lawyer later in life after experiencing first hand as a single mother and business owner how helpless one can feel in a judicial system that seems out of reach to all but those with endless resources. I know what it is like to be faced with the need for legal representation in a judicial system that is too often dismissive of those with modest means and no special connections. I made a vow to never forget how terrified and helpess I felt and how differently many things in my life might have been had I had someone truly advocating for my rights. Very unprofessional!
Kathryn does not return telephone calls nor text messages and has zero communication skills. I made a request for a refund of a portion of my retainer fee and she went off on me and told me I was only doing this to insult her. This is CRAZY! I paid her $2500 for what is now going to be an uncontes...

Replied last April 8, 2021Family law is very emotionally charged and we cannot guarantee a particular outcome. When someone comes to us with an already preconceived low opinion of lawyers it can make representation difficult if not impossible as was the case here. We were threatened with a negative review if we did not yield to unreasonable demands and he made good on that threat. This began as an uncontested matter that became contested and we did what we were hired to do. The many positive reviews here reflect the seriousness and care we take with our clients, unfortunately, the Internet is often and too easily used as an "anonymous" weapon.
