Was arrested for DUI without any accident on my birthday which was the first offense of my life. Submitted to FST, refused PAS, but did blood test with a 0.11 BAC result. My attorney wasn't able to negotiate a plea offer from the DA so I ended up going to trial. I'm an RN so my professional license w...as on the line. He was there for every minute of the 7 day trial which ended up dragging on much longer than expected. He knew how to cross-examine the toxicologists and crime lab specialists and he was always prepared. The jury deliberated for another two days and then declared that they were officially hung. Was declared a mistrial and eventually got a wet-reckless plea deal, which I accepted. My only regret is that I didn't hire him from the beginning. I'm thankful to have had him represent me!

In February 2018, I was arrested for driving under the influence and a blood test came back positive for cannabis. My criminal history isn’t too great – I’m a “super striker” and had a recent felony conviction that I’d gotten probation. Looking at my history, no DA was going to cut me any slack and... the super striker status means any jail time gets automatically doubled. I was referred to Joshua Price by another attorney who didn’t want my case and said he was the best. I wanted him to delay the case as long as possible and he was very successful – trial was originally scheduled for August 2018 and it was postponed until April 2019. Not great for him because he made numerous trips to the Vista courthouse but great for me because I didn’t attend anything other than the Preliminary hearing. I was given both a breathalyzer and a blood test and he filed a Motion to Suppress the blood test and won! That meant we no longer had to deal the cannabis and only had to fight the DUI. At the preliminary hearing, he managed to get the cop to say “I don’t know” or “I don’t remember” multiple times and was clearly respected – even congratulated on his performance by another attorney. The final result? A TOTAL DISMISSAL OF CHARGES. To say I was shocked with the outcome is an understatement. Because of my history, some of the other attorneys I originally contacted wanted more for a retainer than a DUI would have cost. While not cheap, Mr. Price was worth every penny and he earned it. He put a lot of hours and thought into my case. Also, because this is all he does, he’s truly an expert and that was clear in all our actions. He just knows more about this area of law than anyone else in the room. Throughout the process, he was respectful, responsive, and always kept me informed. I’ve had the unfortunate opportunity to work with a number of different lawyers and Mr. Price is one of the best. I recommend him without reservation!

Joshua did an amazing job on my case!! I was facing a second DUI which included a NIGHTMARE of consequences, such as jail time, an 18 month DUI program, road side work, up to 2 year license suspension, a HUGE fine and much, much more. I was absolutely terrified so I looked around for the best DUI law...yer I could find. Joshua was so helpful and made me feel a lot better. When Joshua called me and left me a voicemail telling me he was able to reduce my fine to a wet and reckless, I was beyond happy. He went so out of his way, he even spoke with a supervisor at the courthouse to fight for my case. If your iffy on getting a lawyer, my advice is to go for it because the court system will give you the worst punishment possible, reguardless of the situation. On August 2018 I made a decision to drive home after drinking at work event. I did not allow myself enough time to metabolize the alcohol in my system before I elected to drive. I was subsequently pulled over by CHP (one mile from my destination). I ended up getting: • WET with a .117 BAC • My fine reduced by $500 for my time served in jail • 3 years’ probation • 3 month DUI first offender program Amanda Jew provided me with clear and concise information so I could apply for a restricted license and enroll into my DUI program. We were able to time my driving suspension around our holiday break to minimize the time I would be without my car. By the time I could apply for a restricted license, I was able to enroll into my 3-month program, and get the official results from the court. Mr. Price and his team where instrumental in making this chaotic time in my life easier to navigate. I intend to work with his office when I become eligible to expunge record. I highly recommend Mr. Price and his office should you find yourself facing DUI/DWI charges.

Joshua Price and his assistant Amanda were a real blessing for me in a time of great difficulty. Mr. Price was always available to talk with me regarding my cases (4 prescription med DUIs within 6 months, including collisions), and advise me. He handled everything professionally and with great exper...tise and skill. I never had to go to court or to the DMV hearings and he or Amanda contacted me straight away to inform me the outcome - which was always favorable. I did not get a felony and did not have to go to jail (only home detention). Just DUI classes, pay a fine, and MADD class.
