I cant thank Joshua Price enough for the incredible outcome he achieved in my DUI case. I don’t normally write reviews, but if you’re dealing with a DUI and don’t know who to trust, this might help. I was charged with a first-time DUI, and it wasn’t a light one. I was going 110 mph, my BAC came back at 0.16, and I was facing 60 days in jail. I was stressed, confused, and overwhelmed by ...the number of lawyers online. Everyone claims they’re the best, but I needed someone real. Someone who actually gets results. That’s when I found Joshua Price. From the first conversation, I could tell he wasn’t just another lawyer. He actually listened, he didn’t make false promises, and he explained everything clearly. He was easy to get a hold of, and I never felt like just another case. He made a bad situation feel manageable. In court, Joshua was sharp, confident, and clearly respected. He brought in an expert to fight my DMV hearing and won it. And somehow, he got all my criminal charges dismissed with military diversion. I still can’t believe it. No DUI on my record. No jail time. Joshua Price's name came up a few times in AA meetings, as the attorney anyone charged with a DUI will need. CHP wrote me up for a felony DUI for a .04% BAC level, and I instantly started researching attorneys. Choose Joshua because Josh focuses solely on DUI cases, he is the specialist with all DU...I matters including DMV and Criminal cases. Josh was always upfront and responded to emails within a day. I followed his recommendations of preparing for the court date including AA meetings and MADD class. At the end of the deal, Joshua was able to get the felony charges completely dismissed. Shortly after my case was completely dismissed, his office updated his website showing my case charges and results. The cases on his website are real, the results are real. Im living proof of it. Choosing a lawyer is tough. You're basically taking a leap of faith, hoping they'll be able to help you. I learned this the hard way when I hired Taibi and Associates ( see my review for this firm on Yelp). I imagine that most attorneys bring out their "A" game at the initial consultation hoping that... you will go into contract with them. However, after signing the contract and paying the retainer things can change very rapidly. This is not the case with Joshua Price. What I really appreciated was his availability and guidance. He was always there to answer my questions and offer advice. He's more than just a lawyer; he's a coach, helping you every step of the way. Josh's expertise and experience were immediately evident. He understood the complexities of my case, which involved not only a DUI charge but also a collision with injuries. He came into the situation knowing exactly what I should do and when I should do it. He is experienced in knowing exactly what needs to be done to both satisfy the courts and get your life back in order. When you get a DUI, it is assumed that you are a raging alcoholic and it takes a toll on you mentally. Joshua passes no judgement and is an advocate of making sure that you are treated as a person and not just another statistic. Due to the embarrassing circumstances, I was reluctant to publish anything having to do with this incident. Most of my friends and family aren't aware that this happened to me (until now, ;-/ ) because I've always been the "example" pillar of the community, professional, law abiding citizen, etc. On... the other hand, I'm human, and prone to making decisions that aren't always the best. I'm sharing this review for two reasons. 1. Josh and Amanda are worth their weight in gold. They were both attentive to my questions and understanding of my circumstances. 2. I hope to relay to whoever is reading this, that "yes, it can happen to anyone." I'd imagine, if you're reading this, then you're already in a position where you need Josh's help. Hopefully, you and everyone that was with you is okay. In regards to getting through the rest from here, Josh and Amanda are the right decision at this point. I've gone my whole life without issue or incident. I'm not a hard partier, I'm a family man, and always discourage others from "drinking and driving." I thought I knew where my "threshold" was. I'm a pretty good size guy at 6' and 220lbs. I can have a couple glasses of wine at dinner and not be "inebriated." WRONG. That's what happened. I was at a friend's house for a holiday and had champagne with dinner. No tequila shots. No pre-gaming. I drank water and had a hearty dinner. Don't count on any of that. I wasn't even swerving "all over the road" or obviously erratic. Ironically, I was most definitely driving while distracted with my phone and playing music, finding songs, etc. THAT was enough to move me enough within the lane to cause the CHP behind me to stop and ask questions. That's it. That's all it took for me to have a need to call Josh. Josh was recommended by a friend of a friend who knew him personally. Could I have gone through the process on my own? Probably. Would I have gotten the same results? Absolutely not. I had too many concerns that I wasn't going to risk any more on my own. I have a couple commercial licenses that were at risk. I couldn't afford to put my livelihood on the line because I felt "the system" was unfair and I could beat it with my super intelligence and ego. I had to make some tough decisions. Attorneys are not inexpensive. I had to ask if I could afford it. Ultimately, the answer was always, "I can't afford to NOT hire Josh." You're in a bind. It's going to be expensive. Expect it. But, DON'T fool yourself into thinking you're going to save money by going it alone. I bit the bullet and sent Amanda and Josh everything they asked for. Then sat down with him so he could explain what the most reasonable outcome I could hope for. He talked about best case scenario, worst case scenario, probable scenario, and made no promises to any of them. That needs to be key to your understanding when you hire ANYONE though. Every circumstance is different. Yours is different than mine. Given my circumstances, I can attest that Josh was able to achieve the best possible outcome to save all of my licenses. Could we have contested the case and gone to trial? Sure. We might have even gotten a better outcome. Josh would have gone to bat and I have every confidence he would have prevailed. But, ultimately, Josh secured a great outcome without the additional delay and expense, and risk. I'm confident in that. I'm also confident that I'm making the right decision to recommend him to you, despite my public embarrassment. Best of luck to you! Stay safe.
