If you want to work with a lawyer who is tenured in DUI cases, straightforward, dedicates all their bandwidth only on the DUI case to get you the best possible results, and not enable your "customer is always right" attitude, then look no further and hire Josh immediately. A year ago I drove in to... DUI checkpoint and blew a 0.11 BAC in to a breath machine. I did the worst thing during panic and got lured in to the first law firm that showed up on Google. The lawyer I was assigned started right off the bat by convincing me that my best option would be a plea deal. They didn't even bother paying attention to the details of my case. They had no time to even meet with me in person. They right out believed I was guilty from the beginning. A few months later, I decided to fire the law firm and requested Josh to take over my case. Typically it's not a favorable situation for any attorney to take over from where a previous lawyer leaves off. But Josh was very practical and real but also nice enough to take the case over from the previous law firm. Unlike the previous attorney, Josh did not say nice things to lure me in, just to close the case soon. He was 0% BS right from the beginning and throughout our engagement. Both Josh and I agreed that it would be best to go through a jury trial instead of settling. I was aware that this was a straightforward and easy win case for the State against me. But we fought anyway even with slim odds. Josh is super focused and very passionate about his profession and dedicates 100% of himself to the case. He pulled many all nighters just to make sure I get the best possible defense. I would sometimes wake up to late night text messages from him asking for follow-up questions regarding the incident. He worked hard on presenting himself, myself and our case as best as possible to the jury(including giving me tips on how to dress up for trial). It's worth noting that all this was in a very narrow time crunch because I had immigration outcomes depending on the outcome of this case. During the jury trial, Josh presented his case so well that the jury took a 180 degree turn in their attitude towards not only my case, but on DUI offenses in general. It was more of an interesting 6 days seminar for everyone in the court room about how blood alcohol and breath machines work. The prosecution had that "So this is what it feels like to go against Joshua Price" look. Even the judge was extremely impressed with the defense that Josh put together. Overall Josh was the superhero of the courtroom and he is pure raw energy. I want to highlight the main factor- while I spent 14 months believing that I was really a criminal, and prosecution trying hard to prove that I was a criminal, the jury coming in with an attitude that I'm already guilty, Josh was the first person during this entire time to introduce me to the entire courtroom as a human being, a family man, and a respected member of the society. In the end, the prosecution unanimously voted "NOT GUILTY" on my case and it was DISMISSED. Please keep in mind that you're hiring attorneys to get the best possible defense. You can't pay for outcomes. Considering all this, Josh is certainly the best defense anyone can possibly get. I'm surprised he provides such a top quality service to lay people's cases for a reasonable price. I always believed that the best defense attorneys are reserved only for elites and VIPs only. But working with Josh, showed me how much he cares about the rights of common people. I can never be thankful enough to get to work with Josh. It was definitely a pleasure.

Last December, I got the call no parent ever wants to receive. I had a message that my college-aged son had been arrested after falling asleep while blocking a traffic lane with a .12 BAC. In panic mode, I was trying to figure out bail, where the car was, and what to do next. I searched for reviews t...o find a good attorney. I narrowed the list down and started to make calls. Josh took time to call me on a Sunday afternoon and calmly talked me through the next steps. Anything over .10 BAC is hard to get dismissed or reduced to a "wet and reckless." COVID caused a delay in the process, but Josh took care of all the details, court appearances, and communication. A DUI would have meant serious consequences and could have impacted finding a job after college. Josh suggested making a plea for a wet and reckless. He made no promises that the prosecutors would accept a plea deal. Thankfully, Josh was able to secure the plea deal. As a result, my son's probation, fines, and consequences were not as severe as a DUI. A wet and reckless is still serious and requires, MADD and first offenders' course, a shorter probation, and 2 points on his driving record. Josh was also able to negotiate 40 hours of community service. I am thankful he was able to help my son get a less severe charge. Josh explained that not only do you have to face court charges, but you must also face the DMV separately. Even if you "win" your court case, the DMV can still restrict driving privileges. Two officers appeared at the DMV hearing. Josh was able to win the DMV case and show discrepancies in timelines in their testimonies. As a result, the DMV granted full driving privileges! Throughout the process, Josh worked to answer my questions, provide resources for obtaining an SR-22 that were needed to drive until the DMV case was won. He was willing to answer my questions and give us honest and realistic expectations of possible outcomes. This arrest was one of the worse moments of our lives, but I am glad Josh was able to help us navigate the legal ramifications with the best possible outcomes.

There are not enough words to express my gratitude towards Josh Price and his firm. First off, let me start by saying that I spent hours researching and speaking with different lawyers before I chose Mr. Price. While I was overall impressed with the level of response I received over the weekend from ...multiple lawyers wanting my business my gut instinct led me to choose Josh as the lawyer I wanted to defend me. Josh called me back over a weekend he was on vacation and spent quite a bit of time on the phone with me explaining the process and getting the details of my case. He, unlike other lawyers I had spoken with already had a game plan for how he was going to fight my case. As anyone fighting a DUI knows you are up against 2 fights. One with the courts and one with the DMV. Josh had a fire in his voice and I just knew that if anyone could find the best outcome for me it would be him. I would also like to mention that I was pulled over in Riverside but am a resident in San Diego. The city of Riverside is a different jurisdiction and in many cases a tougher fight than the City of San Diego when it comes to DUI’s. I was a little nervous at first choosing a lawyer outside the city of Riverside, concerned that he may not know how to navigate the system as well as San Diego but I was wrong and again so glad that I trusted my gut and chose Josh. Josh is not the cheapest lawyer you will find or the most expensive. His price is fair and well worth every penny. He was up front and clear with me regarding what was covered in the flat retainer fee I paid to him to fight my case and what fees were outside of that. My case took almost a year to resolve and Josh stayed in communication with me the entire time as he navigated me through the process. He and his firm were available day and night to answer my questions and help me through one of the most difficult times of my life. To provide some further context, this was a first offense DUI with .09% PAS & 08/.08 evidential breath. I had a squeaky clean driving record prior to this event. Josh went to court for me multiple times and was able to get the Prosecutor to agree to dismiss the DUI charges in exchange for a plea to alcohol related reckless driving (wet and reckless). My court case took about 3 months to resolve but we were still up against the DMV. The DMV battle took almost a year to resolve but Josh did not back down. He gathered all the evidence he needed to fight my DMV case and was able to win my DMV hearing saving my license! No license suspension, no IID, nothing! This has been a humbling experience and not a situation anyone wants to find themselves in but if you do find yourself in this unfortunate situation….CALL JOSH!! And next time CALL UBER!!!
