Biography
Hello, thank you for taking the time to learn a little more about me. My name is William Concidine and I am a criminal defense lawyer practicing in Southern California with an office centrally located in downtown San Diego. This area is commonly referred to as the Gaslamp Quarter. Prior to opening my own office, I spent several years as an associate attorney under one of the city's best criminal defense attorneys.
Prior to that experience, I learned the day to day procedures of the misdemeanor courts while interning at the Public Defender of San Diego. This experience lead to a positive and solid working relationship with City Attorneys and District Attorneys throughout San Diego County.
In addition to my time at the Public Defender, I spent several years interning at the Alternate Public Defender where I worked on serious felony offenses.
As for my education, I received my Juris Doctor degree from California Western School of Law in San Diego, California. While there, I fell in love with San Diego and decided it was where I wanted to spend my career. Prior to California Western, I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from California Poyltechnic University, San Luis Obispo in San Luis Obispo, California. I love to return there to visit with old friends from my fraternity, Sigma Nu, and grab a bite to eat at Firestone's Grill in downtown.

Professional and Honest
I met with attorney William Concidine in person and he gave me his honest advice on my chances of winning. He never gave me false hopes of winning my case. Guess what... he did win it! I would definitely use him again win or lose because he gave me valuable information regarding the law.

Doesn't respond in a timely manner!!!
Called this guy a few times, even left a voicemail with my name and number to call back. It took him about a week and a half for him to respond and he left his number to his group which did not answer either. Waste of my time, ended up calling someone else to handle my case.

I was just now notified by Avvo of this person's review (August 29, 2015), and I am at a disadvantage in responding and there was no name given by this person so I cannot say for certain what happened here... I can say this, our office tries our very best to get back to each caller who leaves a message and each email that comes in our office. For most people, hiring an attorney for a traffic ticket is their first and sometimes only experience with an attorney. Attorneys are very busy people, and really good attorneys are even busier. I often spend a few hours each morning in court and a few more hours every afternoon in court hearings. In between, and after, I am responding to emails, calls, and having meetings with clients. We now have an assistant as we have been seeing an increase in clients seeking our help. This has helped with ensuring that calls and emails are returned as promptly as possible. However, we can only respond to you if you leave a message or send an email. A call without a message will not be returned. So, if we miss your call, please try calling again or leave a message instead of going on a review site like this and trying to ruin the reputation of an attorney who is doing everything he can to help his clients, as can be seen by the other reviews listed here. We will gladly discuss your ticket with you, provide information about how the court works and take the time to speak with you about your ticket.
