John Christian Bohren

My name is Michael, and I was referred to John Christian Bohren from another attorney I knew because I had a civil litigation claim. Having just graduated law school myself, the one thing you learn in law school is never to defend yourself. Another thing you know when you get a chance to work, inter...act and intern with other attorneys during law school, you find out very fast what attorneys genuinely care about advocacy and the others who do not honestly care about the client. Mr. Bohren helped me solve my dispute; he got me everything I asked for in my lawsuit. He knew the law; he tempered my expectations by explaining in detail many of the possible outcomes with regard to civil litigation. The legal brief that he wrote for me was far superior to the other parties brief, and it was easy to see that the Judge appreciated a brief that pointed out the law with well-reasoned arguments to support my legal case. Since my first time working with Mr. Bohren (my civil claim), I have since hired him to help me with my bar admittance application, a mediation hearing, and to retrieve some old personal items held in dispute. I have referred him to my cousin for help with a severe dog bite case that he was successful with, and another discrimination case. Mr. Bohren is an attorney I feel confident recommending to anyone. As a new person in the legal profession, I feel sure that I can call Mr. Bohren for guidance and help. It has been my experience that this is not always the case; many established attorneys are not as easily approachable when it comes to advice and helping out other young legal professionals. I was furious when an intimidating cop wrote me a bogus ticket for texting while driving. I knew I had done nothing wrong but the cop REFUSED to listen to me and I even offered to show him my phone but he refused. Long story short I decided to contact Mr. Bohren, my girlfriend recommended him becau...se he helped her with a case last year and won. Mr. Bohren was professional and knew exactly how to tackle this situation, going step by step and simplifying the confusing laws about texting and driving. Mr. Bohren went to bat for me last week in court and won my case! I couldn't be happier with the result, and the way he handled it from start to finish! There was an incident with our dog and a neighbor's dog, in which the neighbor claimed that our dog bit his. I was walking the dog, and knew there was no way that the bite occurred. We were immediately contacted by property management, and advised that we had 7 days to either get rid of the dog or ...leave with the dog. We asked the office to offer us any evidence or proof of the bite (such as a picture, or a vet bill), but no evidence could be offered. Our dog is not an aggressive - he's a big, goofey, playful, sweetheart! After the initial shock of the situation wore off, I contact Mr. Bohren to seek out his legal advice, to see if the property management was right in this 7-day eviction, or if we had legal grounds to fight it. After submitting copies of all lease and pet agreement documents to Mr. Bohren, he was quick to contact me to let me know that the lease/pet agreement were worded very poorly, and there was no sufficent statement in the lease to allow them to take the action they intended to take against us. He made a simple phone call to the property manager, and the issue was settled. We were notified that due to the lack of evidence, they had decided that our dog could stay! Mr. Bohren was very polite, kind, sympathetic, and helpful throughout this process. He maintained constant contact, provided updates often, and was quick to find a resolution to the problem at hand! He's a sweethaert, but can be a bull dog of an attorney when needed! I highly recommend Mr. Bohren to anyone seeking legal counsel!!!
