Biography
Mr. Schwartz has a proven track record of success successfully defending landlords and employers. In fact, he currently represents only landlords and employers. He earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from California Western School of Law. While in school, he earned American Jurisprudence awards in Business Planning, Workers' Compensation, Negotiation, and Advanced Mediation.
In addition, Edwin earned an Area of Concentration award, with honors, in Labor and Employment law and was recognized for excellence in his business law courses when he earned both the Andrea L. Johnson Business Law Award and Cal Western's Advanced Mediation Award.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Schwartz developed an impressive resume where he earned national recognition in sales and sales management while working for global companies like BMW, Lexus, and the Penske Automotive Group. An entrepreneur at heart, he also cut his teeth working for several startups, two of which were later acquired by Symantec and Google and he is co-founder and General Counsel for Clicktote, Inc. a web delivery startup based in San Diego.
Having owned his own law firm and rental properties, Mr. Schwartz understands both business and real estate from the perspective of an emplyer and as a landlord.
