Let me just begin by saying that I am a college student with hopes of becoming a dentist one day. I am not a criminal. I was stopped for dui/drugs. My life has since changed. I never had priors or any background of any sort. I was shocked, nervous and scared. Let me start off by saying its important to read/write reviews because thats why I called Ross and when we spoke the reviews were right, he is one of the best lawyer I hired for my mother's DUI refusal and this is why. Before I met Ross, a year earlier I got my first DUI case and went with a differen...t lawyer. my lawyer talk the talk but was no help AT ALL and didnt know crap and just wanted my money. when i started doing my comm. service and classes, I started telling people my DUI story. they gave me some information that my lawyer didnt tell me before accepting my deal. I felt ripped off. SO when my mom was being charged with a DUI refusal, I wanted to help her pick a good lawyer. when I went through all the letter/flyer law firm had mailed to her home, I came across Ross letter. When we spoke he was upfront about my mother's case. he was honest and told me what i should expect for a dui refusal. He has a good connection at the courts, very friendly, reasonable fees and will work out a payment plan if you are not able to pay in full. I felt very confident about him so i hired him. At the end of it all, he got the refusal charge dropped to a first DUI charge 3 month classes, 11 days comm. service, court fees and most important NO Dirver License suspension. As for the DMV part even though i hired him after the 10 day mark for DMV hearing, my mom and i told him how important it was for her to keep her DL and not get it suspended for one year. He fought for my mom DL and WON the DMV hearing! HE MADE THIS STRESSFUL, EMBARRASSING SITUATION A VERY EASY PROCESS. I have a tendency to get really wordy so let me sum this up: Ross Sobel is the kind of Attorney that other attorneys should model themselves after. Why? Because then many more people would have much more faith in the legal system. Or in just one word: Integrity Ok now i'll be a little more wor...dy: From the very beginning of my very scary situation (arrested for suspected DUI) Mr. Sobel, who i was referred to by a friend, was very upfront and very candid about what i should and what i should not expect. He told me things that a salesman would never tell a prospective client; the truth! lol. He guided me through a very annoying and stressful process and dealt with me even when i contacted him with my excessive neuroticism and hyperactive speech. When things didn't go perfectly, Mr. Sobel stuck by my side more like a friend than a paid-for attorney; like he himself had something to lose if my situation wasn't improved by his service. In short, if you're going to hire an attorney for a situation that cannot have a guaranteed positive outcome (like a DUI case) then hire Ross Sobel. He has the ability and knowledge to potentially "win" your case, but more importantly, he's upfront about the fact that it is not a guaranteed win, not for any attorney, and he is a good companion to walk with through a pretty miserable experience. *quick note: bureaucracy is an important part of the legal system and Ross Sobel is networked well

Before I hired Ross Sobel I was going insane screening attorney after attorney. I wasn’t sure what I needed or the qualifications that would best help my situation. Ross Sobel was the only attorney to call back and follow up. I was impressed with him because after informing him that I was shopping ar...ound he did not sound mad or try to pressure me to hire him. I did what I think anybody does I goggled, yelp, and AVVO his name to see what kind of reviews he had and if it sounded legit. After a week I went with my gut feelings and hired Mr. Sobel.   He immediately took care of my DMV hearing arraignment and told me what I needed to do. Through each step or update he would call me. When ever I needed his advice he would make sure to call me back within a reasonable amount of time. He is very honest, knowledgeable and knows the right people in court!   My case was not the easiest but I know I did one thing right I hired Mr. Sobel to handle my case. My charge was dropped to a reckless driving in court. I am still waiting to hear the results of my DMV hearing.  I was afraid of being charged with a DUI as I want to pursue higher education and get a masters degree.   I can't express how fortunate I feel to have hired such a great attorney who was there to calm me down, listen to my concerns and give me the best advice!
