Ross Howell Sobel

Last May I was in a minor fender bender and the police were called to determine who was at fault. When they arrived they assessed the damage of both parties and as the other party drove away, one of the officers pulled me aside telling me he smelled alcohol on my breath. As luck would have it I was g...iven a field sobriety test along with a breathalyzer test at the scene. I blew a .09 and when we arrived at the station I opted for the breathalyzer once again, blowing a .07. Needless to say I was a mess, my car was out of commission (radiator was busted), and I had been arrested for a DUI (something I never would have imagined). Then to add to the stress, cue the obligatory barrage of lawyer mail but it is what it is and Ross definitely came to the rescue. He never gave me false hope promising some crazy miracle of an outcome but he did promise to do his best. That is exactly what he did, he able to keep my license protected and he was also able to get the DUI charge brought down to an exhibition of speed, something that I had never imagined! I was hoping to get at best a wet and reckless but Ross did me one better. He was always very professional and polite but most importantly he gave me peace of mind!

Very professional and knowledgeable attorney. Always available and makes you feel comfortable and lowers your stress level. Being my first DUI didn't know what to expect. Ross Sobel was honest and upfront with me. I talked to a dozen of attorneys and after about ten minute of conversation over the ph...one I knew he is the one to handle my case. The first time I hired Ross was in 2011 when I got my second DUI. After overpaying a criminal attorney for my first DUI, I knew I didn't have to spend $6k again to get the results I desired. Ross is extremely professional and never promised me anything, which I really appreciated...I needed to be pre...pared for the worst case scenario. Since it was my second DUI (while I was still on probation), I was looking at some jail time. However, Ross and his associate Sam, were able to get my sentencing down to avoid ANY jail time. I was more than happy. Then like many who forget to complete all their sentencing requirements by the due date, I found myself with a bench warrant out for my arrest. I had no idea how to handle this so I hired Ross again. He gave me a discount for being a return client and it was definitely worth every penny to have him and Sam in my corner again. If I went in alone, I probably would have had more punishment added to my sentencing but instead, I was granted an extension with no additional requirements! I would and have recommended Ross Sobel for all DUI and related charges. He is very informed, has great communication, and the follow up is incredible. I have no idea why the Matt below me had such a bad experience. That sounds nothing like the Ross Sobel and his team.

I hired Mr. Sobel for a DUI case and throughout the whole process he was condescending and rude. At first he won me over with politeness but soon after I handed over the money things changed. Moreover I did not receive the outcome he had told me he would fight for. I am not happy and would not recomm...end Ross Sobel.

First of all I must say that to all of you out there in the healthcare profession, get a lawyer!!! Whether its Ross Howell or someone else, you will definitely need one! But why do I recommend Ross Howelll? Well, here's a little bit about my case I got pulled over by the CHP, blew a 0.12/0.13 in the ...preliminary test & in the station I refused after two tries. (dumb decision) Well my ticket said DUI REFUSAL. In hopes of getting my case dismissed or dropped to a lower charge I knew the possibilities were extremely low and that only a really good lawyer would be capable of doing this. I received numerous letters from attorneys, made consultations and randomly called some and it felt like they all made false promises and charged huge amounts of money. When I called Ross I felt right away that this was the man I wanted to represent me, he told me what I might expect, as well as a couple of things I might need to do If I hired him such as attend AA meetings. Well, My court date was two weeks ago (metropolitan court) and amazingly he was able to bring my DUI refusal to a wet and reckless. He was able to pull off what he calls a "miracle" but I think its thanks to his great work and dedication. I know it wasn't an easy task since I had a DUI refusal on my ticket,and I had initially gotten pulled over for speeding, but he did it! He is well known in this court house and well respected. He is very trust worthy, honest and best of all he's always there when you need him. Currently, Im still waiting on the outcome of the DMV hearing, but so far the outcomes from the court have been great. Also, I am in the health care profession and Ross has guided me since the beginning, he's very encouraging and answers all your questions. I definitely recommend him!
