Ross Howell Sobel

The first time I hired Ross was in 2011 when I got my second DUI. After overpaying a criminal attorney for my first DUI, I knew I didn't have to spend $6k again to get the results I desired. Ross is extremely professional and never promised me anything, which I really appreciated...I needed to be pre...pared for the worst case scenario. Since it was my second DUI (while I was still on probation), I was looking at some jail time. However, Ross and his associate Sam, were able to get my sentencing down to avoid ANY jail time. I was more than happy. Then like many who forget to complete all their sentencing requirements by the due date, I found myself with a bench warrant out for my arrest. I had no idea how to handle this so I hired Ross again. He gave me a discount for being a return client and it was definitely worth every penny to have him and Sam in my corner again. If I went in alone, I probably would have had more punishment added to my sentencing but instead, I was granted an extension with no additional requirements! I would and have recommended Ross Sobel for all DUI and related charges. He is very informed, has great communication, and the follow up is incredible. I have no idea why the Matt below me had such a bad experience. That sounds nothing like the Ross Sobel and his team.

Ross is the man! Him and his staff are the best. I got pulled over on April of this year and blew a .10 and just recently i had my court date and him and his crew were able to help me lower my fines; and they were able to turn my DUI into a wet reckless case. I would totally recommend Ross to anyon...e who gets into a sticky situation such as a DUI. I remember days after i got pulled over i was receiving boat loads of letters from different attorneys telling me about how i am in deep hole and just having that feeling of being scared and not knowing which direction to take or what to do, but once i got around Ross' letter his stood out the most to me and it has been the best decision i ever made. They do reasonable payment plans with reasonable rates, he gives you advice on what to do, if he tells you to do AA meetings just do them its totally worth it, it pays off in the end, trust! I give 5 stars to Ross. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!!!

When I was pulled over in November for a DUI I had no idea what my next step should be. I had never done anything wrong in the past and had a crystal clean driving record. I was overwhelmed and I felt lost. I talked to about ten lawyers before I found Ross. All were intent on having me hire them ...without explaining to me what I was going to go through the next couple months. (And all charging a heavy fee.) Ross immediately told me everything was going to be okay, and that the worst was over. He described to me step by step what the process was going to be and what I needed to prepare for. He was detailed, professional and kind. He kept in touch with me throughout the process and even talked my DUI down to a Wet Reckless. Anytime I needed to talk, he was there. He never shuffled me off to a secretary, and always took as long as he needed to explain something to me. I will, and have recommended Ross to my friends and others I meet who are facing the same situation. I couldn't rate him high enough for all he has done for me. If you've never had a lawyer before; Ross is the guy. If you need legal advice; Ross is the guy. If you need a reliable and trustworthy lawyer; Ross is the guy. It is an unfortunate circumstance to have to go through, but he will get you through it one step at a time.

I wouldn't have done any worse with a public defendant. The reason I hired Mr. Sobel was the refusal acusation, the person who showed up in court was a student of him. So I took advice and declared my self guilty and repented. That didn't do me any good. Well to make the story short, I ended up with ...more than 13 months of suspended liscense on a first DUI, that suapension starting 6 months after the DUI arrest. I could've just took my max penalty of 12 month suspension right off the bat and would have been driving earlier. Now I'm driving with this iid intalled after the suspension, and I know this is state law and not his fault, but after all the wonders I'm reading on the reviews, I'm starting to suspect his team is busy posting these reviews, and mine just had to be said. So in conclusion, if someone is going to take a case and charge premium for it, at the very least he should get for you the same or better results than going it alone but not worse in any case.
