Ross Howell Sobel

Last May I was in a minor fender bender and the police were called to determine who was at fault. When they arrived they assessed the damage of both parties and as the other party drove away, one of the officers pulled me aside telling me he smelled alcohol on my breath. As luck would have it I was g...iven a field sobriety test along with a breathalyzer test at the scene. I blew a .09 and when we arrived at the station I opted for the breathalyzer once again, blowing a .07. Needless to say I was a mess, my car was out of commission (radiator was busted), and I had been arrested for a DUI (something I never would have imagined). Then to add to the stress, cue the obligatory barrage of lawyer mail but it is what it is and Ross definitely came to the rescue. He never gave me false hope promising some crazy miracle of an outcome but he did promise to do his best. That is exactly what he did, he able to keep my license protected and he was also able to get the DUI charge brought down to an exhibition of speed, something that I had never imagined! I was hoping to get at best a wet and reckless but Ross did me one better. He was always very professional and polite but most importantly he gave me peace of mind!

First of all I must say that to all of you out there in the healthcare profession, get a lawyer!!! Whether its Ross Howell or someone else, you will definitely need one! But why do I recommend Ross Howelll? Well, here's a little bit about my case I got pulled over by the CHP, blew a 0.12/0.13 in the ...preliminary test & in the station I refused after two tries. (dumb decision) Well my ticket said DUI REFUSAL. In hopes of getting my case dismissed or dropped to a lower charge I knew the possibilities were extremely low and that only a really good lawyer would be capable of doing this. I received numerous letters from attorneys, made consultations and randomly called some and it felt like they all made false promises and charged huge amounts of money. When I called Ross I felt right away that this was the man I wanted to represent me, he told me what I might expect, as well as a couple of things I might need to do If I hired him such as attend AA meetings. Well, My court date was two weeks ago (metropolitan court) and amazingly he was able to bring my DUI refusal to a wet and reckless. He was able to pull off what he calls a "miracle" but I think its thanks to his great work and dedication. I know it wasn't an easy task since I had a DUI refusal on my ticket,and I had initially gotten pulled over for speeding, but he did it! He is well known in this court house and well respected. He is very trust worthy, honest and best of all he's always there when you need him. Currently, Im still waiting on the outcome of the DMV hearing, but so far the outcomes from the court have been great. Also, I am in the health care profession and Ross has guided me since the beginning, he's very encouraging and answers all your questions. I definitely recommend him!

This review is significantly tardy/late and my apologies to Ross for not doing this sooner! Nonetheless, all I can say is that if you are ever in a pickle with anything related to DUI's, DO NOT hesitate to call Ross ASAP! Acknowledging my own faults with having to deal with the courts/DMV a secon...d time, Ross skillfully got my sentence reduced and with minimal hiccups to my personal life. Getting all that overwhelming mail from attorneys following my 'altercation', I struck gold in deciding to go with Ross. Yeah, paying for anything unexpected is inconvenient, but I am telling you folks, Mr. Sobel is worth every penny and then some. He is extremely professional, cooperative and takes the time to get to know you and your situation without all the fanfare of useless promises. Additionally, he WILL work with you regarding your financial situation and for that alone I am thankful to have met him. Do yourself a favor and keep him in mind should you or anyone you care about have go through what I did. First time offenders, 2nd time (me), 3rd (hopefully not) or whatever the case, Ross Sobel's expertise and finesse in knowing his business makes writing a review such as this, an honor and pleasure.

I got a DUI in Pasadena and just scared as what to do forward at this point. I knew a couple friends who gave me advice, recommended me to Ross Sobel, and I'm glad I did! If a couple of my friends trusted Ross, I'm sure I'll be able to too. He was very clear as to what he was going to do for me and w...hat I can do till my court date. We always kept in contact, I think due to my badgering since the DUI was so nerve racking lol but Ross always took his time to talk to me and walk me through the steps..even when I called him a couple times so early in the morning. When the court date came Ross was able to bring DUI to a RECKLESS driving! I blew a .17..twice the legal limit! I was just amazed at how ross was able to bring my DUI down to a RECKLESS driving when the legal limit is .08 and I blew a .17!?! At this point on if i ever do anything stupid, I know I can count on Ross to help me...WHATEVER THE SITUATION MAY BE.

When I was pulled over in November for a DUI I had no idea what my next step should be. I had never done anything wrong in the past and had a crystal clean driving record.
