About Nima
Biography
At The H Law Group, my practice is focused on California DUI defense and criminal defense. As a former prosecutor with the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, I now use that experience to defend individuals charged with DUI, felony DUI, multiple-offense DUI, and other serious driving and criminal offenses throughout California.
My team and I have handled thousands of DUI and criminal cases, ranging from first-offense misdemeanors to complex felony matters. In DUI cases, our focus includes the lawfulness of the stop, the administration of field sobriety tests, breath and blood testing procedures, and representation at the DMV Administrative Per Se hearing that controls a driver’s license. We prepare every case as though it will go to trial, which strengthens our courtroom readiness and often improves outcomes for our clients.
With offices in Los Angeles, Orange County (Irvine), Riverside/Temecula, San Diego, San Jose, and Santa Barbara, we appear in California criminal and DUI courts on a daily basis. Our practice routinely involves major trial courts in these regions, including downtown Los Angeles, Orange County, Riverside, San Diego, San Jose, and Santa Barbara.
In addition to DUI and criminal defense, we selectively represent clients in serious injury cases involving motor-vehicle collisions and animal attacks, including dog bites. We intentionally limit our practice and do not accept medical malpractice or legal malpractice matters in order to remain focused on DUI defense, criminal defense, and a narrow group of high-impact injury cases.
Clients come to us when their license, record, career, family life, or freedom is at risk. Our goal is to provide clear guidance, build strong defenses, and protect our clients’ futures both in and outside of the courtroom.
