Rude, condescending, and goes against your wishes

Please do not waste your money or time on this lady. She will move slowly and not pay attention to your emails, and then come back asking for information you've already provided weeks ago. She will talk to you like you are an idiot. In one of her emails to me she said "Ok, let me break it down t...o you.. read slowly" this is verbatim and "don't for a second treat me like I don't know what the F... I am doing" when I showed frustration and used the "damn" word in my email. Mind you, you are the one who's paying her and she's talking to you like this. She will sign away your money without your consent. She offered the other side a lot money after I explicitly told her not to and then she comes back with "well, it's too late, they've already accepted". Why did I keep her and keep paying her? Because I thought my ex and I reached an agreement but he would then change his mind and ask for more. Which he kept getting. Yes, she will settle your case for you, for sure. Just be prepared to have her give the other side EVERYTHING they ask for and avoid court at every expense. She will tell you over and over, " I just want to get you divorced and save you money", all the while giving away your money like it's water. Do not hire this lady if your case is remotely complicated or you are a high income earner with your own business. And of course if you are looking for someone who remotely respects or listens to you. This to say, that by the time, I brought another lawyer in, it was too late to undo all the damage she had already done and I was out of money to keep paying more and more fees. Wish I had someone different from the beginning. I would possibly still had paid alimony but much less than what was projected by the time another party came into play. The whole justice system is not just people. Be prepared to lose as the lawyers make all the money. Divorce law is antiquated and needs an overhaul.

One of the worst experiences I've ever been involved in

I hired Mandy to handle my child custody case because my cousin was using her for the same thing at the same time. Mandy gave us both false hopes. Laughing about the whole thing like it was a joke on court days. My experiences with her were awful. She didn't reply to me when she should have. She did ...things at her own slow pace. I was living in a different state at the time I flew out for one of my court dates and sat at the court house waiting. When I didn't see Mandy I called and that's when she bothered to let me know they changed my court date. So I had to fly back and wasn't able to attend. Of course this wasn't Mandys fault oh no. But I didn't see her sitting down there with me. She also completely dropped the ball on other parts of the case. She was just embarassing. Lied when papers she was supposed to send weren't. It's crazy she has an 8 rating on here. Find someone who actually cares.

Litigation is not a poor man's sport. Litigation is also difficult between 2 states. Communication can be difficult and particular departments have their own way they provide notice when hearings are continued. It is always particularly difficult when you have 2 parents in 2 different states, which is how this case was. Did not mean that as counsel I cared less, I tried to navigate this case with impossible facts to achieve acceptable results for the client. As with most cases and unhappy clients, the unhappiness set in further when the bill came. Just as with this particular clients brother who also did not want to pay. If you cannot make an attempt to pay your bill or set up a small monthly payment this is what will happen. Our firm unlike others does accept monthly payments. That said, if you really cannot afford counsel, the local Pro Bono provider is the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada, which can be called at 702-386-1070 (or see their information on the web at http://www.lacsn.org/option,com_jcalpro/Itemid,3/extmode,view/extid,15/). Those that take pro bono cases take them after they have been screened, and assigned, by Legal Aid. The Reduced Fee Panel sponsored by the State Bar can be reached at 702-382-2200. Additionally, there are free consultations offered on Thursdays at the self-help center; volunteer attorneys provide 15-minute consultations, for free, on family law questions. For those that wish to attempt self-representation, forms are available at the Clark County self-help center website, at http://www.clarkcountycourts.us/shc/Supporting%20Documents/self_help_supportingdocs.html. This Firm does not have late filings and rates and fees are competitive. All fees and rates are disclosed. The more difficult and contested the case becomes , the fees and rates will rise accordingly. This is standard for the Legal Industry. Whether the Firm is Large or Small the expectation of maintaining funds in your Trust account and or Retainer account will be

A Winner!

My case was contested custody, the parents of my ex have all the money to spend in his behalf and I don't. I went to different lawyers that won't listen to my drama and I was desperate to win my kids because I know my ex cannot take care of them. My savings was getting low. I saw Mandy here and knew ...she's the one to win my case. She's very attentive and listened to every detail of pain that I went through. I have all the evidence I need but she pulled a very smooth tactics that made my ex to back off! She requested my ex-husband to sign a HIPPA release, drug test, and many more. After a few months of going back and forth to court, she won my case and closed the deal last December 2013. I am very happy and satisfied because now I have permanent sole legal and sole physical custody with my 3 kids and a 100% discretion when it comes to visitation. And about the bills? Her firm gives me an option. Just like she said, she lets her clients pay her like an auto loan. I love Mandy and I will hire her again if I need to.

She's a family law MASTER and had been doing family law almost exclusively for years! She really knows her stuff. If I got divorced, I'd call her--that's how much I'd trust her."

"Mandy has been one of my go-to people for family law issues for years. Confident and experienced, she does not waste time with issues that will not advance your case - many people worry about getting a lawyer more interested in billing them for as much money as possible rather than completing a case. You can trust that Mandy will get your case done."
