Knowledgeable, wastes no time, extremely efficient

I hired Peter James to represent me for my custody case. He listened to all of my needs, requests, and concerns. He was quick to get my case up and going. He was very communicative and made revisions to documents upon request in a very timely manner. He represented me very well when I was unable to represent myself. Ultimately, he made sure all of my requests were fulfilled and there were little to no hiccups throughout the case. Outstanding Attorney

Peter is a true, honest attorney. He told me straight forward what to expect. His knowledge and experience in handling divorce and custody cases is outstanding. Mr. James is one of the few attorneys capable of handling Supreme Court cases in Las Vegas. This is one of the main reasons we chose to hire Mr. James. Peter rescuers me from a Disaster

Peter is a true honest super lawyer. He has lots of experience of handling divorce cases. He’s one of the few super lawyer who is capable to handle Supreme Court cases in Vegas. He cares about his clients. Peter just represented me and won the case. Thank you, Peter!

Professional and knowledgeable

Peter is a phenomenal attorney. He was perfectly clear and straightforward . After our first meeting I knew that he was right for me. He never gave me false hope and laid every possible outcome, good and bad, on the table. It is so easy to work with him and his staff in the office. He helped me out with pretty complicated visitation case which I was worried that I could not see my daughter but Peter got me sorted out after just the first court hearing. I would definitely hire him again.

He actually HEARS you

Mr. Peter James was exactly who I needed in a time of crisis. In 2015 I was on a desperate mission trying to find a lawyer who could help me with a custody case. His office was the first one to actually hear me, my worries and my plea for help. I met with Peter that same day and he helped put my mind at ease. His office staff was so kind and helpful and it just revealed another level of respect I had for him because if you aren’t good to your employees then how would I assume he’d be good to me and my family...their personalities and behavior was a complete reflection of his professionalism, education and kindness. My children will grow up together!

Me. James and his staff were wonderful throughout my last year. They did what they said they would, communicated well through email and phone calls! This single mom of two who no longer lives in Nevada was relieved I chose such a confident, hard driven attorney who fought to the end for me to win custody of my daughter. I ended up with more child support than I thought I would get, attorney fees, and a peace of mind knowing we fought by using facts! I can rest assured I fought fair. I highly recommend this firm! Above and Beyond

Peter James and his staff was professional

Peter James was extremely professional from the beginning until my case was settled. I interviewed a few different attorneys and Mr. James by far was the most patient and thorough in explaining to me the process. He never hesitated to answer all my questions and bring up any issues I should plan for before hiring him and his firm. Outstanding Service

Peter provided me with the assurance I needed during the difficult divorce and child custody proceedings. All of my concerns were addressed in a timely fashion and I could not have asked for better service or outcome. My case had many twists and turns in dealing with the other half and he knew exactly how to properly navigate through the legal system in order to provide the best outcome not only for my but my children. Amazing!

I have been working with Mr. James for over a year. He has by far exceeded all & any expectations in my case. A Lawyer With Morals and Integrity

I have known Peter James for many years and I have refered him to my clients many times. In cases where people are not able to afford a lawyer he has gone out of his way to help them. He has even help with documents and advice to one of my clients who he said "she doesn't need me" because she had enough knowledge to do it on her own.He took the time out to help her and she was able to get custody rights back.He goes above and beyond any attorney that I have ever known. Superb!

Peter is an excellent attorney. His knowledge is superb, ability to litigate is superior. Peter first handled my divorce, which went as smooth as it could under the circumstances. Following that, there were several custody issues that arose due to my ex and Peter was able to successfully navigate those waters in an outstanding fashion. Peter is and has been as solid as a rock in terms of his ability to meet the opposing party head on. Though I hope I never have to, if needed I will call upon Peter again and again.

A Very Professional Attorney

Mr. James has represented me through a long and difficult divorce/custody dispute lasting almost two years. In all that time, he never missed a deadline or an appearance. All work presented was professional, well researched and compelling to the Court. He is certainly a competent and knowledgeable attorney, but he is also approachable and easy to deal with from a client's perspective. His staff and colleagues are also very helpful and friendly. All things considered, his representation was a very pleasant surprise amid a very unpleasant time in my life. Family law matters are very important and stressful on a personal level. Not willing to go the extra mile

He will do as you ask, but the errors along the way you will pay for in the long run. He didn't include any customary custodial wording in our documents, which then lead to unclear situations, along with more litigation fees. He also left hours out of the visitation schedule, which again lead to more litigation and more times before the judge.

Very Little Advice and Effort

Peter did accept my case to help but ended up leaving a lot of money on the table. Also made himself avaliable when needed. But the guidance he provided left me with a monthly take home of 2K less than my divorced wife after promising to pay 8 years of alimony even though I make more then her. I wish he would had a more fighting drive to help with the numbers. Court would have been a better option then settling. After 3 years looks like I have a good case and going to court finally. But much harder now after we accepted the offer and over a 90k already lost.
