Below standard

Hired Mandy sept of 2017. She files a motion which cost me 1500 roughly that was rejected and not even heard. She talked to me like I was a little kid and was disrespectful in our face to face conversations. Emailed her paperwork to file in court and she never filed them. Have her legal paperwork... to review before court she failed to. Had no game play at the hearing I had to schedule an appointment with her day before court just to come up with a game plan. Was an hour late to court because she told me the hearing was at 11 when it was at 10. Made us both late that day and it hurt my case. Judge asked her to file the order and she never filed it. Asked her set up an appoint with other party per the judge order. She charged me for setting up the appointment but never got the sit in. Asked her to erase the extra charges she charged me and she didn’t then she filed a motion to withdraw as counsel and even charged me for the motion to withdraw. Very unorganized counsel. Other attorney looked professional and she was never prepared to counter. She charged me for motions that were never heard failed to communicate file paperwork correctly and was late for court. Very below standard and do not recommend. She doesn’t care about her clients

Over charges and drops the ball

This attorney will always be late for your filings, over charge your account with frivolous charges where her mother (office Manager) picks up some income and is incapable of difficult cases. If your looking for a someone to handle a contested difficult case...keep looking at the larger firms as this... is a one person office that won't remember your case after you leave her office.

Litigation is not a poor man's sport. If you cannot make an attempt to pay your bill or set up a small monthly payment this is what will happen. That said, if you really cannot afford counsel, the local Pro Bono provider is the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada, which can be called at 702-386-1070 (or see their information on the web at http://www.lacsn.org/option,com_jcalpro/Itemid,3/extmode,view/extid,15/). Those that take pro bono cases take them after they have been screened, and assigned, by Legal Aid. The Reduced Fee Panel sponsored by the State Bar can be reached at 702-382-2200. Additionally, there are free consultations offered on Thursdays at the self-help center; volunteer attorneys provide 15-minute consultations, for free, on family law questions. For those that wish to attempt self-representation, forms are available at the Clark County self-help center website, at http://www.clarkcountycourts.us/shc/Supporting%20Documents/self_help_supportingdocs.html. This Firm does not have late filings and rates and fees are competitive. All fees and rates are disclosed. The more difficult and contested the case becomes , the fees and rates will rise accordingly. This is standard for the Legal Industry. Whether the Firm is Large or Small the expectation of maintaining funds in your Trust account and or Retainer account will be expected.

"I've known Mandy for several years now. She worked for two of the biggest names in family law in Nevada before opening her own practice. She's a family law MASTER and had been doing family law almost exclusively for years! She really knows her stuff. If I got divorced, I'd call her--that's how much I'd trust her."

"Mandy is a superb family law attorney. I have not had the pleasure to have her as an opposing counsel yet, but she served as a divorce mediator in one of my high dollar cases. She was able to get the case settled, and each party was satisfied with the results."

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"Mandy has been one of my go-to people for family law issues for years. Confident and experienced, she does not waste time with issues that will not advance your case - many people worry about getting a lawyer more interested in billing them for as much money as possible rather than completing a case. You can trust that Mandy will get your case done."
