I cant say enough good things about Kurt Smith and his legal team at Smith Legal Group! I went through a very painful divorce with a TON of litigation. Kurt was with me every step of the way. He was amazing before all THREE judges I ended up appearing before, and out of the 5+ times we were in court... I won every single time. He was always on top of things, proactively calling me when something was up. And he was always there any time I had questions, taking his time to explain things to me in a way I could easily understand. I have only the best things to say about Kurt. I had a nasty divorce case. I needed to move out of state and didn't have the money to fight my husband. I agreed to leave my daughter with my husband. She was miserable. I hired Mr. Smith to fix it. He helped me prove that my daughter would be happier with me. Now she lives with me most of the... year. Great office. The whole office was great. They really made me feel like my case was important. Mr. Smith was really understanding about the fees too. He took a big chunk of money off of my case at the end.

I was in desperate need of a lawyer. I had a hearing set for 9:00 a.m. the next day, but stupidly waited until the last minute to try to get a lawyer. I was shocked to learn that he had stayed up the rest of the night and wrote all of the paper I needed to proceed in Court the next day, filed them with the Court, and then faxed them to the judge. I was even more amazed when I learned that the judge actually read Mr. Smith's papers, praised him for his hard work, and had fully considered everything Mr. Smith had to say both in his papers and in person. I was shocked when I walked out of the courtroom having won! I thought I was dead in the water. The judge ordered my ex to return the child to my custody immediately. Thanks Kurt! I couldn't have done it without you!

I hired Kurt Smith to help me with a custody case. I was a nervous wreck because my ex threatened to "bury me." Before I hired Mr. Smith's office, my ex was sending me threatening emails and text messages trying to threaten me, harass me, and get back together with me depending on his mood. Mr. Sm...ith put a stop to all of that. He helped me get a protection order while the case was pending with the judge and at the end he helped me get a behavior order that is permanent. When my ex violated the behavior order, Mr. Smith took it to the judge and put a stop to my ex's bull sh*t. But the best part of hiring Kurt's office was how calm I felt once they stepped in. Kurt was fantastic the entire time and really helped me through a really tough time in my life. Lucky for me, I have not heard from my ex in a while. But if I do, I will be right back to Smith Legal Group! They are the best!!!

I can honestly say that now that I have reached the end of my case, I was not disappointed!!! I hired Smith Legal Group to help me wit...h my adoption case. These guys knew how to get it done quickly and efficiently. My case was a little bit tough because the father changed his mind about letting me adopt the child several times throughout the process. However, Kurt Smith never gave up and was able to work with both the father and the court system to get the issue resolved and to cool tempers to avoid the case blowing up. Thanks to Mr. Smith's hard work, I can finally say that the little girl I have been raising is all mine (and my wife's!) I will always be grateful to Kurt Smith for making us a family. To hear my little girl call me daddy is the best feeling I have ever had.
