Going through a divorce isn’t pleasant but Kurt made it much easier. I first hired a lawyer who did absolutely nothing. When it was time to pay another retainment fee because my 6 months was up without resolution, I decided to hire a new lawyer. After talking with quite a few lawyers I chose Kurt Smi...th. Right from the beginning he was on it. He moved up a court date to get me spousal support & I got it. My other lawyer didn’t even tell me that was a possibility. Kurt stays up late and works on weekends to get things done. After that he went to bat for me and I got what I wanted and then some. Antoinette was so full of knowledge and extremely helpful. I hired Smith Legal Group to help me get visitation with my grandson. I have always had a close relationship with my grandson. However, after my son and his wife got a divorce, his wife moved away and stopped letting me see my grandson. Things went from bad to worse when my grandson's mom started ...hanging out with the wrong crowd and letting my grandson hang out with the wrong crowd. I had actually hired a few attorneys in the past. They made me promises about my case, but were unable to follow through. When I met with Kurt Smith, Mr. Smith explained to me that different judges approach things different ways. My judge was a very conservative judge with grandchildren of his own. He reviewed my former paperwork and explained how my previous attorneys had not presented my case properly. I was skeptical, but I really missed my grandson. I hired Kurt Smith to take care of it. WHAT A RELIEF!!! Kurt Smith had a way of talking to the judge that put me, the judge, and everyone else in the courtroom at ease. The other attorney kept talking about constitutional rights of parents and how the judge had no authority to make any decisions in my favor. He sounded really good. Mr. Smith explained the other attorney's legal argument to me, but also explained why those arguments didn't apply in this case. I was nervous. But Mr. Smith was right! The Judge agreed with him and gave me visitation rights with my grandson every year. My grandson's Mom was spittin mad. But things have calmed down and the exchanges now go by without a hitch. Mr. Smith came through when others couldn't. He's a busy attorney. But he must know what he's talking about because he sure won my case for me!

During CPS investigation resulting in my daughter being removed from me. Kurt thoroughly walked me through everything step by step. In court Mr.Smith pleaded my case for me & the judge ruled in my favor. I highly recommend Kurt Smith for CPS cases or custody cases. He knocked it out of the park & is ...very profession.
