I have been practicing Workers' Comp law since first becoming an attorney in 1988. My first position was as an Attorney at the Industrial Commission of Arizona.
I did defense work for a short time and have been representing claimants since 1990.
I helped build the biggest claimant's firm in Arizona, leaving in April of 2013 to merge my practice as a Partner at Snow, Carpio & Weekley.
I have devoted my career to helping injured workers and their families put their lives back together after life altering injuries. I do not represent fakers, malingerers or people trying to " game" the system. I do represent individuals who are being taken advantage of by insurance companies and third party administrators.
I am a strong advocate for my clients and very competently handle cases from outset through complex hearings and appeals. I am very fortunate to have a passion for my law practice and the thousands of injured workers I have represented.

Would NOT recommend
What a HORRIBLE experience. DO NOT use this lawyer. Not only did he stop fighting for me after he was retained and getting a portion of my checks, but he switched me to a different lawyer in the middle of my case. They did not tell me when the hearings were so I couldn’t even be apart of my own case ...
With 34 years practicing at and before the Industrial Commission of Arizona, I can tell you that cases are won and lost overwhelmingly on the strength of the supporting medical evidence. The injured worker has the burden of proof, so their evidence must be substantial in order to meet this burden. My response to this former client is the following. We took the case, we took it through hearings ( both myself and my associate, whom I worked with for the hearings that he handled) and presented the supporting evidence in the best light possible. We did not stop " fighting for" the client. Clients typically do not attend further hearings and in fact I never recommend it. The losing Decision came in after the associate left our firm and I informed the client. I explained that appeals on resolved medical conflicts do not bear fruit and are an exercise in futility. When a client insists on moving forward, our only recourse is to withdraw as attorney so that they can proceed on their own or with other counsel. I believe that we have an upset ex-client, which I understand. The ALJ resolved the underlying medical conflict against her. I hope that she can find peace with the ICA Decision and move on with her life. As in all cases, we did our very best to represent her.

"Brian and the attorneys at Snow, Carpio & Weekley are experienced, hard-working attorneys. They truly care about their clients and the community, and not just the bottom-line. I would highly recommend them for workers’ compensation or social security disability matters."
"Brian is a fantastic attorney in the workers' compensation field. He has many years of experience and is recognized as a certified specialist by the State Bar of Arizona. More over, he has a great reputation in the legal and medical communities and garners many client referals from both. The fact that other attorneys and doctors have the utmost confidence to refer their respective clients/patients to him speaks volumes about his abilities."
"Brian knows worker's compensation, inside and out. Brian knows how to get the best result for his clients. He truly has a special place in his heart for his clients, and it is clear that he loves helping them by acting as their attorney. He is also very easy to work with. I would recommend Brian to anyone I know."
