Disorganized, allows other attorneys to bully her, not a strong negotiator

I hired Diana and while my divorce was finalized quickly, I had to constantly follow up with her and fix errors in her paperwork, filings, emails, etc... The only thing I was fighting for was to not pay my ex-husband alimony. Her advice and counsel was poor and I ended up paying alimony, even though... I shouldn't have. The day of mediation she told me she hadn't slept the night before because the opposing counsel got into her head. Even after a bad divorce process, I hired her to do my estate planning. It took months. I got an excuse after excuse why it took so long. I recently reached out to her again to ask about modifying the alimony agreement and expressed my displeasure about the mediation process (not her, I said I was upset with the process and outcome) and she told me to find another lawyer. I would advise others to do the same.

It is always challenging when clients are unhappy after they have reached an agreement to resolve their case. In this matter, the client wanted the divorce done quickly. No statement was ever made about the other counsel getting into my head. As with all my clients, we review during mediation the pros and cons of the terms of the proposed settlement agreement including whether a better resolution can be achieved in court. In this case, the mediator was a retired judge and we heard his opinions as well based on having held hundreds of divorce trials. This client voluntarily signed the agreement. By the time, the client contacted me to modify the agreement, I had changed the focus of my practice to an out-of-court practice. Modifying alimony requires going back to court and would have been difficult under the circumstances. Sometimes legal matters take time, such as this client's estate planning documents, when there is a delay by the client in providing the necessary information to complete the documents. Regards, Diana

Child Custody

Diana Telfer is the best attorney I could have asked for. She listened to all of my concerns and gave me the realistic outcomes of what would happen in court. She genuinely cared for my daughter and I, and fought tooth and nail for us. She’s extremely well organized, considerate, communicative, and p...rofessional. She is consistently staying updated on your case to ensure you have everything you need when going to court. She also makes you very aware of how much everything will cost and gives you the best for your money which I greatly appreciated. She has worked for me for two years now and I have zero complaints. Her and her team are the best, and definitely who you want on your side of the court room. I will recommend her to everyone because she was the blessing my daughter and I needed during a trying time in our lives.

Diana is an excellent attorney with wise understanding of both legal and human aspects of divorce.

I've been a past law enforcement officer of 15 years and I have worked with numerous attorneys during that time frame. Diana without a doubt is one of the choicest individuals that I have had the opportunity to associate with. Diana knows what she is doing and was compassionate to many of my conce...rns. I felt that she listend to what I had to say and took everything in to consideration. If I was wrong on an issue she was definitely not afraid to tell me that I was wrong on an issue. Which was good because in divorce and child custody cases there's usually a lot of emotions involved. My case was definitely no exception. My significant other ended up with some emotional and psychological issues that made everything about 20 times harder unfortunately. After my significant other lost her attorney due to some issues. Diana ended up having to do the work of two attorneys. She did her best to help the other party understand while at the same time protect the interest of me and the kids. This divorce ended up taking over 2 years to settle because of numerous complications. Diana with her wisdom and knowledge was a blessing to our situation. She is not only a great person with integrity, but she is also a very knowledgeable attorney. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

Diana Telfer

I just wanted to take a minute and tell everyone what a great experience I had with Diana and her team. They were fantastic in every way. She kept me informed and answered any and all questions that my family had in regards to our trial. She was very patient and thorough in every aspect. She always c...ame prepared. Not only did she have my best interest in mind in the courtroom, but she was also very cautious on the amount of money it was going to cost me. I would definitely recommend Diana to anyone that is in need of an attorney. She is very good at her job and very professional.

Top rated Attorney

Diana is extremely organized, professional, competent, and compassionate. She was very skilled at taking my emotional perspective on the situation and sorting out the important facts to help support my case. She always helped me keep a realistic perspective yet provided me with the professional supp...ort I needed under a highly stressful situation. Her written responses were well formulated, organized, and always to the point. In court proceedings, she was always professional, respectful, competent, and organized. I always felt that she held the best interest of my children in mind when helping me make decisions. When decisions were made that did not feel favorable to me, she helped me to put the situation in perspective and to not take decisions personally. Diana is a woman and lawyer with integrity. She always took the high road and never spoke of anyone with disrespect. She utilized the facts to speak for themselves and refused to match disparaging remarks made by others. Without question, I would return to her again for legal representation. Furthermore, I give her the highest recommendation to anyone seeking legal representation.
