Excellent Choice For a Family Lawyer

I hired Diana a few years ago and put her on a retainer to help with family law issues pertaining to child custody. She helped me understand the law in the State of Utah and how it applied to my situation. Diana is an empathic listener who explains the law in understandable terms. She is prompt in he...r communications and always asks what the overall goal is for each call. I felt very empowered after each time I communicated with her. I'm very pleased with the outcome of my case and I highly recommend working with her!

In competent hands

When I set out to find an attorney to represent me in my divorce, I knew I was very interested in the collaborative process, but I knew nothing about it and if was the best route to take. It ALL felt overwhelming and scary. Minutes after my general inquiry to the Utah Association of Collaborative Pro...fessionals, Diana reached out to me with information about the collaborative process. I called her almost immediately. She was generous with her time and knowledge, helping me get clear and feel a little less anxious about the process. Needless to say, I hired her. Throughout the process, Diana listened, was responsive (which was SUPER important to me), compassionate, competent and straight forward. I felt I could trust her and knew she had my back. When things got tense she did her best to diffuse things, but when it was necessary she got tough. I would absolutely recommend the collaborative process and I would absolutely recommend hiring Diana.

A collaborative attorney whom you need on your side

Diana was recommended to me by my therapist who had 2 other clients use her as their divorce attorney, so from the start, I had high expectations. Needless to say, I was not disappointed. The first time we met it was in person, which worked well to determine if we were a good fit. All the informat...ion Diana provided was clear and concise (how I prefer it), and by the time our first meeting ended, I knew she was my best choice. The rest of our communications were via phone calls or emails. As a research scientist, I'm a stickler for attention to detail, and aside from my name being misspelled a couple of times by her assistants, the service was top-notch! Diana responded to my emails promptly, with sufficient details to my many questions, and she would also call me for brief discussions to clarify any urgent questions I had. She explained my options, always trying to keep the process as amicable as possible between the two parties, and she would also provide alternative routes/options to take when my future 'ex' decided to have last-minute changes to the Stipulation document - although we didn't have children we had a business to resolve. I found Diana's service reasonably priced in the short term (i.e., cost of the retainer and hourly rates) and invaluable for getting the best deal to come out feeling like I was getting a fair outcome. Getting a good divorce attorney on your side is like buying a good pair of leather boots, they may not be cheap but they will last much longer than the cheap faux versions, and you'll be happy with your decision in the long run!

Concerned Client

Diana claims to have her clients best interest in mind. She will lead you to believe that your case is high conflict so that she can create the most billable hours. She gives speeches at legal conventions about dragging cases out for 18 months to make the most money. She does not care if she wins or ...loses. She does not care about her clients or their children. She only cares about money. Look into the reason she parted ways with her most recent employer Clyde, Snow, & Sessions before you hire her. She recently handled a case for them and in the previously mentioned speech she mentioned: “We may not have won the case, but our firm made a lot of money” Is this the kind of attorney you want defending you?

I would like to put a context around this former client. I represented him in a child custody matter even after he refused to pay his bills in accordance with the retainer agreement he signed. He also was not paying for the services rendered by another attorney in my former firm, Clyde Snow, regarding a business dispute. I was required to withdraw when it became clear he was not going to pay for the attorney services. There was no such speech or statement made. I spent a wonderful 12 years at Clyde Snow. I left to start my own firm after changing the focus of my family law practice to an out-of-court practice rather than a litigating practice. Regards, Diana.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND DIANA!

Diana is the best attorney ever, she helped with my custody case even it will take time. She was a great listener ,genuine and she really wants to help you succeed. My previous attorney gave up on us because the case will take longer time than usual and then i found Diana which she didn't give up o...n us. She went the extra mile and did more than enough to help me keeping my daughter safe. All of her hard work was invaluable to us. At one point i wanted to give up on the case , but her encouragement and support was immeasurable. Thank you Diana!
