Couldn't have done it without her.
I cannot imagine what would have been the outcome if I didn't have Diana Telfer's counsel and protection. She represented me through an eight year high conflict custody dispute with such professionalism and an ability to anticipate future issues, therefore nipping them in the bud before they material...

A collaborative attorney whom you need on your side
Diana was recommended to me by my therapist who had 2 other clients use her as their divorce attorney, so from the start, I had high expectations. Needless to say, I was not disappointed. The first time we met it was in person, which worked well to determine if we were a good fit. All the informat...

Concerned Client
Diana claims to have her clients best interest in mind. She will lead you to believe that your case is high conflict so that she can create the most billable hours. She gives speeches at legal conventions about dragging cases out for 18 months to make the most money. She does not care if she wins or ...
I would like to put a context around this former client. I represented him in a child custody matter even after he refused to pay his bills in accordance with the retainer agreement he signed. He also was not paying for the services rendered by another attorney in my former firm, Clyde Snow, regarding a business dispute. I was required to withdraw when it became clear he was not going to pay for the attorney services. There was no such speech or statement made. I spent a wonderful 12 years at Clyde Snow. I left to start my own firm after changing the focus of my family law practice to an out-of-court practice rather than a litigating practice. Regards, Diana.

Disorganized, allows other attorneys to bully her, not a strong negotiator
I hired Diana and while my divorce was finalized quickly, I had to constantly follow up with her and fix errors in her paperwork, filings, emails, etc... The only thing I was fighting for was to not pay my ex-husband alimony. Her advice and counsel was poor and I ended up paying alimony, even though...
It is always challenging when clients are unhappy after they have reached an agreement to resolve their case. In this matter, the client wanted the divorce done quickly. No statement was ever made about the other counsel getting into my head. As with all my clients, we review during mediation the pros and cons of the terms of the proposed settlement agreement including whether a better resolution can be achieved in court. In this case, the mediator was a retired judge and we heard his opinions as well based on having held hundreds of divorce trials. This client voluntarily signed the agreement. By the time, the client contacted me to modify the agreement, I had changed the focus of my practice to an out-of-court practice. Modifying alimony requires going back to court and would have been difficult under the circumstances. Sometimes legal matters take time, such as this client's estate planning documents, when there is a delay by the client in providing the necessary information to complete the documents. Regards, Diana
