Seth Grob recently assisted my partner and me with finalizing the adoption of our son, who was placed with us on the day of his birth. Our case was non-standard because we are a same-sex couple, and we needed to complete a single-parent adoption for me and a second-parent adoption for my partner. We were very upset, and were considering moving to another state so that we could both adopt our son. Seth was very prompt in response to any question I had regarding my gestational carrier contract. He was very knowledgeable and it was clear he has a lot of experience with legal contracts. He provided us with valuable and useful information while we were making the decision on the best way for us to create our family. After we deci...ded on domestic infant adoption, he helped us find a great agency and assisted us in any and all manner of questions that arose along the way. After the birth of our son, we had an issue with the insurance agency that he swiftly addressed with them. It was corrected immediately and saved us a ton of work and effort that would have taken away from valuable bonding time with our new addition. As we sought to adopt a second time, he was with us every step of the way, through 2 unsuccessful matches until we ultimately were able to adopt our daughter. He also was able to petition the courts to expedite our finalization as we had circumstances that required us to move out of state as soon as possible. His negotiations with our agency saved us time and money along the way and I am very happy that we retained his services throughout both of our adoptions. I am sure that it is possible to adopt through an agency without retaining separate counsel but our process was immeasurably easier with Mr. Grob's knowledge & expertise as well as support when things were chaotic.
