Guardianship and Custodial Adoption

We would highly recommend Seth to anyone looking for an attorney to support them through a guardianship and custodial adoption. Our little girl came to us from a hard place when she was five years old. Seth guided us through the process of filing for emmergency guardianship, then permanent guardiansh...ip and a year later, custodial adoption. Seth is knowledgable, experienced and an overall great human. It was an emotional journey and we are grateful that we had Seth to guide and direct us through each step.

Would Recommend

Seth handled our infant adoption case which was complicated going from one state to another (Wyoming to Colorado). He was super knowledgable and helped us along every step of the way. There for a few months it was looking like we were going to have to go to court/litigation, due to our incarcerated b...irth father fighting the adoption. Thank goodness everything ended up working out and we didn't have to go to court after all, but we could tell we were in good hands with Seth if we had. He made a very scary situation more manageable by talking us through all possible outcomes.

Highly recommended!

Hiring Seth Grob to represent us for our interstate custody and adoption case is one of the best decisions we made! It was money well spent. Seth has a stellar reputation in family and adoption law. Seth was honest and transparent throughout the process, which I really value. He was always respectful... and prepared. When we were in court, it was evident that he is a known entity and well-respected within the judicial system. He is a very experienced attorney and very comfortable in this real of family law. Before each proceeding, Seth would schedule a time to meet with us and prepare us for testifying and to set expectations for the proceedings. He did not over-promise, but he was definitely reassuring. We felt prepared at every step and felt confident in our legal representation. Seth’s knowledge and expertise are at the top of his profession. In addition to his legal experience, he contributed to many of the statutes and regulations in the state of Colorado and has lectured extensively on these topics. Seth is a known entity and a valuable attorney and counsel. I would highly recommend him and would absolutely hire him again.

Knowledgeable, Professional, and Passionate Lawyer

We hired Seth from Grob and Eirich to help with an adoption subsidy negotiation. He was both very professional and knowledgeable about the entire subsidy process. We were able, through Seth's leadership and direction, to get a get subsidy package that will allow us to better care for our little one... as he gets older. Hiring Seth was well worth the money. It wasn't easily coming up with the money for the retainer, but I am glad we did and it was worth it in the end.

Interstate Traditional Surrogacy Case

We retained Seth Grob for a complex interstate traditional surrogacy case, and we couldn't be happier with his representation. Seth had excellent knowledge of the various jurisdictions in Colorado and was able to think critically and creatively about how we might proceed with our case to ensure t...hat we could become parents through our chosen method, traditional surrogacy. Traditional surrogacy is especially legally complex since the surrogate is also the egg donor (meaning the surrogate is genetically related to the child). Seth was able to walk us through the various ways our scenario might play out. For instance, he was able to explain that in one county in Colorado we might be able to obtain a pre-birth order, but in another county it might be better to take the route of a second parents adoption for me (the legal but not biological mother). Because our surrogacy was interstate, with our surrogate a resident of New Hampshire and then moving to Georgia part way through the process, Seth was able to call on his professional network of attorneys in those states to find someone to represent our surrogate. He consulted with those attorneys to understand and communicate to us the nuances of each jurisdiction, which he then explained to us clearly. Not only is Seth's knowledge of the law in this area quite thorough, and not only is his professional network wide, he is also prompt with his replies to our questions, organized with the details, and responsive to our concerns. He’s a consummate professional who also understand how emotional this field of law is for the intended parents. Thanks to Seth’s representation, we are now the proud legal parents of our baby boy and will happily recommend him to anyone who might benefit from his services.
