Seth A Grob

My husband and I worked with Seth for the adoption of our daughter, which was finalized in September. We are now working with him on our second adoption as well. He is incredibly quick to respond and makes himself available to answer questions. Moreover, Seth is always looking out for our best intere...sts. With both adoptions, we've had unusual financial situations arise with other parties (not Seth, but other lawyers and agencies) and Seth has always been quick to advise us and made it apparent that our best interest was his number one priority. He is direct, which my husband and I find refreshing and gives the facts without telling us what we should do. It is clear that his role is to give us all the information possible, while respecting our right to make the ultimate decision. We have truly enjoyed working with him for the past year and a half.

I consulted with Seth for my consideration of relinquishing parental rights of my adopted children. I first e-mailed him, and he was very quick and responsive, although it was understandable that he could not discuss in details via e-mail. I called to schedule a consultation, and was surprised that h...e answered the phone. It was refreshing to have an attorney so accessible. He told me he would have a meeting in a few minutes and had me talk with his assistant. She was very friendly and tried to schedule me as soon as possible. Then, when I called later, Seth again answered the phone. Before the consultation, he had gone through the information I provided him earlier. He then gave me a thorough introduction of the process. He made very honest and realistic analysis that my case would be very difficult (nearly impossible). He was not condescending as some reviews mentioned. I found him informative, efficient, and looking out for my best interest. He addressed my questions (I had many) in a very efficient, easy to understand fashion. I never once felt that he tried to promise the world or to convince me to retain him. Unlike many people who instantly become judgmental when they hear adoptive parents relinquishing parental rights, he was not judgmental at all and was matter of fact. I was very comfortable talking with him. I appreciate his honesty. I will certainly go to him in the future if I need help related to adoption matters.

Seth is an incredible attorney. When I first met him I had so many questions. He walked me through all of my options as a single parent. I decided to pursue infant adoption. Seth spent time with me and explained how to write my letter to prospective birth parents. Once I wrote it, he provided feedbac...k and guided me in setting up my book. That was so helpful because it made the task of creating my book so much easier. Once the birth parent opportunities started to come to me, Seth carefully walked me through each one and answered all of my questions. He was very professional, quick to return calls, and made every effort to obtain more information about the birth parents if I needed it. I will never forget the call I received from Seth when my daughter was born. I think he was almost as excited for me and my son as we were! Seth checked in on us and handled all of the details during our waiting period after I brought my daughter home. I felt that I could focus on my family and not worry about details of the adoption because he was taking care of all of it for us. Seth Grob is a fantastic attorney. He is professional, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Seth to anyone who wants to adopt a child, or learn about all of the options possible for growing a family.

Seth was a breath of fresh air when others could not handle our challenging case. He is absolutely the best adoption lawyer out there. I could not recommend him more highly. He was available and answered our questions compassionately and intelligently and even met with us the same day our adoptio...n case went awry. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with Seth Grob during our adoption process. Within days of taking our son home, she changed her mind again and decided to proceed with the adoption. Our adoption journey was a roller coaster ride in many aspects, and when we were matched, Seth made the remainder of the process go as smoothly as it could be. As a same sex couple, we found Seth to be very respectful, supportive, understanding and knowledgable about how our process would go. We had 100% confidence in his ability to complete the adoption and second parent adoption without a hitch, and that is exactly what happened. We will be forever grateful for what Seth has provided for us, and his role in building our family. We have since referred Seth to several of our friends,and if we ever found ourselves in the place again where we wanted to adopt, we know without a doubt we would be contacting Seth!
