Seth is an incredible attorney. When I first met him I had so many questions. He walked me through all of my options as a single parent. I decided to pursue infant adoption. Seth spent time with me and explained how to write my letter to prospective birth parents. Once I wrote it, he provided feedbac...k and guided me in setting up my book. That was so helpful because it made the task of creating my book so much easier. Once the birth parent opportunities started to come to me, Seth carefully walked me through each one and answered all of my questions. He was very professional, quick to return calls, and made every effort to obtain more information about the birth parents if I needed it. I will never forget the call I received from Seth when my daughter was born. I think he was almost as excited for me and my son as we were! Seth checked in on us and handled all of the details during our waiting period after I brought my daughter home. I felt that I could focus on my family and not worry about details of the adoption because he was taking care of all of it for us. Seth Grob is a fantastic attorney. Our situation was unique in the fact that our birth mother changed her mind shortly after birth. Within days of taking our son home, she changed her mind again and decided to proceed with the adoption. Our adoption journey was a roller coaster ride in many aspects, and when we were matched, Seth made the remainder of the process go as smoothly as it could be. As a same sex couple, we found Seth to be very respectful, supportive, understanding and knowledgable about how our process would go. We had 100% confidence in his ability to complete the adoption and second parent adoption without a hitch, and that is exactly what happened. We will be forever grateful for what Seth has provided for us, and his role in building our family. Seth Grob recently assisted my partner and me with finalizing the adoption of our son, who was placed with us on the day of his birth. Our case was non-standard because we are a same-sex couple, and we needed to complete a single-parent adoption for me and a second-parent adoption for my partner. The... first attorney we consulted told us that we could only do the single-parent adoption in Colorado, but not the second-parent adoption. We were very upset, and were considering moving to another state so that we could both adopt our son. From the start, Seth was confident that performing both adoptions in Colorado would be no problem. He assured us that he had assisted other same-sex couples to adopt in this way. He was absolutely correct. The legal proceedings went off without a hitch, and we are now both the proud legal parents of our son. Seth is smart, professional, courteous, and responsive. His responsiveness was particularly impressive; he replied promptly to my emails and called me when needed to ensure that the adoption process proceeded smoothly. I would definitely recommend Seth to others who need an adoption attorney in his geographic area.

I did not care for Seth's manner and feel he was bilittling and condescending. He professed to be an expert but would not take the time to explain or answer questions for us. In the end, we found out that the advice he'd given us was not correct and we hired another lawyer. He charged us over $400... for a few emails and condescention. When asked to refund the money his response was no, and he referred to the amount we paid as "very little". Regardless of whether we disagreed with him or not, he did not give us a feeling that he was well informed about our situation or that he cared much more about anything than getting the check. Luckily for us, we moved on to someone we feel was better suited to meet our needs.

Seth has been highly instrumental in helping us build our family with 2 separate domestic adoptions in the last 3+ years. He is extremely knowledgeable about adoption laws (multiple states), same sex adoptions, second parent laws, etc. He is trustworthy and has a great knowledge of the details and ...intricacies of adopting. He was very patient and thorough as he presented us all the information to make the best decisions for our family.
