“From 2005- 2007 I experienced PTSD from Hurricane Katrina. In 2007 I made a bad choice in my personal life resulting in criminal charges relating to a romantic relationship. Thankfully, my ability to practice law was never suspended or interfered with. I participated in DV counseling and I learned a lot about emotional health. This event, while embarrassing as it shows up on this website, really helped me to understand what many of my clients experience in divorce and child litigation.”
