He refused to fight my exs attorney and now years la...
I am very interested to learn who posted this anonymous review. At Pickard & Ross we are very concerned about each of our clients, especially if they have complaints. I do not recall this matter, and have never received any communication about it. I invite the reviewer to contact me for further discussion, and appropriate action.

Joe Pickard saved the day!
Joe and his staff were incredible and made me feel totally at ease and comfortable with everything they were doing for me. Everything was done right and they really saved the day for me.
"I met Joe for the first time the other day, and we spoke extensively about his practice. I can say for certain that Joe is a passionate advocate for this clients. He is willing to take on difficult cases with vigor and heart."
"I endorse this lawyer. Joe is one of the finest trial attorneys I have ever encountered. I have litigated against Joe, and have also worked with him as co-counsel. Joe is pragmatic, has a wealth of knowledge, and is a tireless, ethical advocate for his clients."
"Joe is the standard by which attorneys in this field should all strive. He is a gentleman to all parties. He dominates all aspects of a case and makes the court room look like it was designed for him. He is astute and polished and balances that with approachability and likability. It is a pleasure to work with him or against him. He is the gold standard in an industry that isn't always shiny."
"I endorse and would recommend Mr. Pickard to everyone and anyone. I have been practicing for 24 years. I was the youngest judge in Colorado history, a magistrate, a prosecutor in three districts, a law professor, and have worked in private practice for years. I still learn from his Avvo answers each and every day. He is a huge credit to the legal system. Hire him."
"I endorse this lawyer. Joe instinctively know the right thing to do to get the best and fairest result for injured people."
"I endorse this lawyer. I worked with Joe on a recent Social Services Dependency and Neglect case in Arapahoe County, Colorado. Joe's poise, reputation, and knowledge gave us a distinct advantage. I would not hesitate to call Joe on a similar case. He takes every matter as a personal challenge and gives it his all."
"I endorse this lawyer. Joe's passion for his work is evident from the moment you meet him. He is honest, hard working and ethical beyond reproach."
"Joe is the best litigator I have ever met; and I am fortunate to know several very good litigators. He also happens to be a very good person."
"Joe is a tireless advocate for his clients in domestic, criminal defense, and personal injury/civil cases. I have personally observed him expertly handle even the most complex and difficult situations (in all three disciplines), and I have witnessed his dedication to his clients and their well being. I would give him my highest recommendation."
"I have had the privilege of working with Joe Pickard, both professionally and on a personal level. I feel comfortable recommending Joe and his firm to others. Joe understands that a case is won or lost before the courtroom drama begins. (Recently, a trial ended after Joe’s direct examination of his first witness – his client. Upon the court’s ten minute recess, the opposing party capitulated on the major issues resulting in a complete settlement prior to completion of the presentation of his case). With assistance from his able staff, Joe’s thorough pre-trial work usually results in workable settlements prior to trial. Joe always demonstrates the utmost professionalism in his work, always protecting the rights of his clients while being upfront, forthright and honest. Joe and his staff are very dependable, addressing issues, completing tasks and meeting deadlines to the client's satisfaction. Joe’s work ethic is impeccable and a true representation of who he is."
"Joe Pickard is an extremely capable criminal defense, juvenile law, and domestic relations attorney. It was my privilege to work with Mr. Pickard previously in a government law office, to negotiate and litigate cases on opposite sides when we no longer worked together, to consult with him on difficult and complex cases, and to work together on various trainings for a people in a variety of different areas of endeavor. Joe Pickard exudes intelligence, diligence, and dynamic legal representation. Mr. Pickard's effective communication skills, judgment, creativity, work ethic, and care for clients are a tribute to the legal profession."
"I endorse this lawyer. Joe is a fantastic attorney and I have the greatest respect for him. He is highly ethical and very knowledgeable about several areas of law: criminal defense, dependency and neglect cases, and domestic relations are the ones I am aware of. He is tireless and goes all out for his clients, and gets great results for them."
"Joe has an unusual background with title 19 actions involving child abuse and has unique insight as to how to guide a client through a D&N case. He is well versed in Family law and has made some tough calls which turned out well on several cases that I have seen him involved with."
