Rebecca Irene Gumaer

I am so beyond impressed with my experience with Ms. Gumaer and her team. I am grateful to have worked with such a professional, kind and EFFICIENT lawyer and team. I was provided with consistent communication in a way that I understood and each step was explained and well thought out. Ms. Gumaer was... very respectful of my wishes and my journey. Without her and her team my divorce experience would have been a nightmare. She took time to hear me and let me be honest with my emotions while providing guidance of the process. I would recommend her to anyone who is contemplating divorce or separation. She made the experience much more uneventful that I had planned for it to be.

Rebecca is my second lawyer in regards to my custody case with my daughter.. My first lawyer screwed me and I ultimately came to Rebecca a broken person needing someone to fight for my daughters best interest. Rebecca has fought 110% for my baby girls best interest. Mediation she was like a tiger aga...inst a large law firm and I left amazed at how she was able to get things done.. Then came time for court and testimonies which of coarse hashes up many mixed feelings and she was able to keep me focused on the big picture and what I wanted to accomplish for my girl. I was heart broken when the judge told us at the hearing that she would have to review everything since it was a "Hybrid" case and would get back to us in a couple of weeks. The day the judge was to make the decision over the phone it was postponed again for 4 days later.... Rebecca has done everything possible in her power to fight for me and my daughter.. In which case we WON and my baby girl will be residing with me!!!!! I am so very great full to her and all of her office staff for being there, helping me when times got rough and keeping me on task until the end which ended amazingly...I could not have asked for a better lawyer, she is worth every penny spent!!!!

Rebecca is highly recommended as an intelligent, knowledgeable (and personable) family law practitioner. I was impressed with her intimate knowledge of the law, as well as financial implications, as she developed an individual strategic plan to obtain the best outcome for me as her client. She can ...be tough and aggressive if circumstances warrant, but always offers a fair legal analysis of facts before presenting her recommendations. She is compassionate and has a calming and very patient approach during the highly charged, emotional journey through the divorce process. Rebecca and her Assistant, Sheryl, were very responsive during the entire process.

Rebecca Gumaer is that attorney. I was ...referred to Rebecca by a friend and hired her last year when faced with the unfortunate reality that my marriage was over. I am so glad that I did. She was professional, empathetic, diligent and above all, knowledgeable. She and her staff were always on top of things; my calls and emails were always returned timely and anytime I felt confused or upset by the court process, she was patient in explaining and setting appropriate expectations each step of the way. She listened and understood what was best for myself and most of all for my children and worked hard to get an outcome that was more than I expected. My divorce hearing was final yesterday May 8, 2014 and what a great day it was!! I find it interesting that suddenly following that hearing a negative review of Rebecca has popped up almost immediately following our hearing. I can only speculate but I can guess that the review was posted by the opposing pro se party that didn’t get the outcome they felt they deserved. I cannot speak to specifics about the case of course, but rest assured that the negative review below of Rebecca is entirely false and I have flagged it since it is false and it should be removed by this sites admin.

I have already recommended Rebecca to a couple other people! As with most divorces, they aren't fun, and they are very upsetting...Rebecca was AMAZING; she made the process as painless as possible with great communication and prompt responsiveness! She also got the job done with efficiency - I felt... like she had my back and it wasn't about the money for her, but about doing what's best for her clients!!! She was all business but kind and compassionate!
