Patricia Dixon (Trisha) graduated from the University of Texas in 2007 with honors with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Social Work.  She then attended Baylor University School of Law where she received her Juris Doctor in 2010. 

 

Since 2010, Trisha has been practicing exclusively family law with a concentration in divorce, modificaions, enforcements, custody issues and disputes, child support, and drafting of marital agreements, including pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements. 

  

Patricia has dedicated her career to advocating for her clients by assisting in settling family law disputes and trying to minimize conflict and costs for her clients.  

 

Despite Patricia's dedication to settling her cases for her clients, she is no stranger to a courtroom and advocates zealously for her clients by being a voice for them in the courtroom.

 

Trisha represents clients in family law litigation cases, including divorce actions, property characterization, reimbursement claims and all child related issues including custody and child support. Trisha also represents clients in modification and enforcement of existing family law orders, including modifying and enforcing child support and conservatorship issues. Trisha represents clients in need of emergency protection orders and temporary restraining orders in situations involving family violence. Trisha also assists clients in drafting and review of pre-nuptial and post-nuptial property agreements.

You won't be disappointed.
Going through a divorce is not easy especially when there are children involved. I know very well since I divorced my baby daddy twice. I had an idea of what the divorce process would look like and even had a copy of my first decree. Even so, Patricia Dixon did an amazing job of showing me the things I missed or had not been pointed out to me by my first lawyer. My ex decided not to get a lawyer and I was the go between. Patricia was extremely patient and supportive of how I should handle things. Her experience and knowledge proved to be invaluable. Her genuine caring and concern of my case kept me calm during a time that was very chaotic and overwhelming. I am extremely thankful and grateful that I had one of the good ones on my side.

An outstanding and detail-oriented divorce attorney
Trisha took over my divorce case after my initial attorney moved to another firm. Due to this transition, the original scheduled trial date has to be pushed to early next year. My ex-husband makes my case contested and complicated due to his uncooperativeness and malicious motive. Therefore, I felt very frustrated and stressful at that time. Given my financial situation, I had a strong desire to close my case this year. I still remembered what happened the first time I met Trisha in her office. She showed her outstanding professional ability in family law, rich experience, wisdom and keen insights into the details of my case, which made me believe that I will be in good hands with her until my divorce is finalized. She really did an awesome job! With her assistance, finally I'm uncontested divorced in November which is much earlier than the rescheduled trial date. So I strongly recommend Trisha.

Best Attorney EVER!!
I can honestly say Patricia Dixon brought me back to life! Last year I had finally made the decision to get out of a very toxic and abusive marriage however due to my pre-nup along with clout my husband had in our local area I found myself not finding an attorney in my local area that was encouraging whatsoever about challenging the pre nup. I basically was at the mindset I was going to be forced to continue spiraling down my staying or be put on a curb if I filed. God intervened and I had a prominent attorney that was unable to help me due to conflict of interest he did however refer me out of our area to Patricia. The difference in the whole way I was treated and talked to between her and other attorneys was remarkable ! Patricia was not only extremely knowledgable regarding challenging pre nup but she was understanding ,encouraging and honest . from the time I hired her to the day my divorce was final she was amazing I've had limited experience with attorneys but the ones I have dealt with in the past never told me to call day or night , office phone or cell phone , email or text and even more shocking actually got right back to me day or night !!! My life has slowly been restored over the last few months where I am emotionally, mentally and physically in a whole new place and only looking up! Thank You Patricia

Divorce with Two Small Children
Trisha was everything I was looking for in an attorney. She was very knowledgeable, straight forward, and organized. I absolutely LOVED working with Patricia!!
Patricia was thorough and prompt throughout my entire divorce. She got things done SO fast! It was fantastic!! She fixed the mistakes that my former lawyer had made. Her assistant, Vincent was also very professional and great to work with. She was worth every penny and I would refer her to anyone!!!! Kept it amicable!
Patricia did a great job of keeping both parties calm, cool, and collected. She always looked for a solution that was equitable for both parties and navigated us through a difficult time with kindness and compassion. I never felt like she was in it for the money - rather she wanted to do the right thing and get some closure. Tricia was referred to me by 2 close friends and I will recommend her to others. Excellent counseling through a difficult process
Patricia (Trisha) Dixon was the perfect choice for me as I went through my divorce. Trisha was an excellent guide, compassionate to the emotional and challenging side of the divorce, but equally skilled at educating me on the process. She and her team executed the divorce proceedings professionally while respecting my wishes to be as amicable as possible with my ex-wife throughout. Trisha allowed me the freedom to set the tone while ensuring I didn't make mistakes and fully understood each decision along the way. The best lawyer ever!
Patricia (Trisha) has been my rock through a very difficult divorce! My ex and I separated in 2006 but he has been refusing to give me a divorce. There were several other issues involved and it was just a huge mess! Trisha is very confident, tough but very compassionate, she handled everything brilliantly and kept me in the loop. I was extremely stressed out for all these years and she put me at ease, she took care of everything, esp serving papers on my ex, very quickly and had my back throughout the process. I don't know how I would have gone through this process without her professional and emotional support. She puts the client's needs and wellbeing first, her fees are not exorbitant and she will work with you in every way possible, even making it easy for you to handle this financially. Her paralegal, Onetta Weedon, was very professional and efficient as well. All the staff at the office was wonderful. I will be forever grateful to Trisha to finally give me peace of mind and see me through this difficult and stressful period. Strongly recommend
Patricia assisted me in a custody, medical reimbursement and child support dispute. She was not only responsive and knowledgeable, but kept me informed and understood how disruptive it was to my family. She maintained her professionalism and managed it to a positive, appropriate resolution despite the unprofessionalism of the other party and their multiple delay tactics. Going through a divorce process is always difficult and painful. I found a great support from Tricia during the entire process and with her help the case was faster and easier than expected. My highest recommendations
I loved working with Trisha Dixon to get my divorce completed. She was understanding, respectful of the difficulty of the situation and extremely responsive. I always got the sense that she cared a lot about my situation and about making things as comfortable and economic as possible. She was also extremely helpful in explaining every step to me in a way that I understood. Besides the legal aspect, she also took the time to ensure that I was emotionally ready for every step as we went along (she never rushed me into anything that I was not ready to embark on). She was present at every step of the process and I always felt had my best interest in mind. I would highly recommend her.
