Rachel represented me at the beginning of my divorce and custody battle. Since she was a female lawyer and he come highly recommended by a family friend I hired her. This turned out to be a huge mistake. She never seemed to grasp the true nature of my ex-husband who was extremely abusive. My new lawyer didn’t have any new revolutionary legal advise for me, but he made me feel protected and listened to me; therefore, I felt confident in his abilities to see my case through. He absolutely did. I came out on top with a majority of the assets and primary custody. Rachel may have knowledge, but she is sorely lacking in people skills. To be a truly successful attorney you need both in my opinion. People cannot trust in those they don’t feel comfortable with.
