Tyler takes pride in being a well-respected litigator, who is not afraid to take a case to trial or to challenge the trial court on appeal, but he also knows how to settle a case when that is in the client’s best interest. Since being licensed he has handled hundreds of family law matters involving divorce, custody, adoption, and termination of parental rights, CPS litigation, child support and complex property division.
Along with family law cases he has also handled criminal cases ranging from Public Intoxication, DWI, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Controlled Substances, Delivery of Controlled Substances, Manslaughter, Capital Murder, Aggravated Assault, Robbery, Burglary, and Sexual Assault cases.
As an appeals attorney, he has successfully challenged trial courts, by authoring briefs and handling appeals on family and criminal cases in the 1st Court of Appeals, 3rd Court of Appeals, 14th Court of Appeals, 4th Court of Appeals, and the Texas Supreme Court.
