Called three attorneys after I was arrested for a charge of DWI in Travis County in Dec. 2022. Kevin was my 1st & 4th and final call and hired on spot. Kevin was always one step ahead of the courts. Kevin had me take classes to behoove my chances as well as suggested a portable alcohol monitoring device for a short period of time. Kevin answered all my calls or returned them asap. Kevin answered all my texts & emails. He worked on a payment plan on a monthly basis. I even had to move out of State of Texas and Kevin battled for me alone basically and was able after 14 months in the courts to have my initial charges of DWI to Obstruction of Highway/Passageway with time served and mininal fines if any I paid. When I needed an attorney for my representation in a DWI case, (Felony), Mr. Bennett met with me well before any charges or a warrant was issued. When the warrant of Motion to Revolk Probation was issued, Mr. Bennett was very aggressive and proactive on my behalf and the motion was removed as we met ...with the District Judge allowing me to go to an Intensive Outpatient Treatment program of my choice using my healthcare insurance verses the typical County programs such as SMART that requires 6 months of inpatient treatment. As a result, I was able to meet the courts demands and very importantly I was able to maintain my employment while doing so. While I'm a little embarrassed to say that I am familiar with the criminal justice system, I feel that it's important for anyone looking for an attorney to know I have had others in the past. With that said,,, Mr. Bennett was truly outstanding. He was non judgmental, professional, familiar with all the personalities and officials in the Travis Court system, always kept me up to date on my case, I never had to worry that I was just another case to him, he promptly returned every phone call. While I hope to never be in this position again,,, There is zero doubt of who I would want to represent me. I 100% endorse and recommend Mr. Bennett to anyone that requires representation. Be it for yourself of a family member that deserves the best, I trust Mr. Bennett completely.

My friends kept pushing me to spend an inordinate amount of money on the funny/trendy lawyers with commercials and Austin Chronicle ads/fame for being outlandish, but who has that kind of money when life happens and mistakes are made? ($7-8 and even $10k for a DWI? No thanks, but I see how yall are a...ffording those viral ads and commercials off our backs). Long story short, "a friend of mine" made a huge mistake and regrets it, but "he/she" got drunk and drove and got a DWI. A fair and reasonable amount of money later, I got my charges dropped! Kevin knows the ropes, seemingly has all the right judicial relationships and relationships even with attorneys (even prosecutors which is super valuable) in his peer group, he's a consummate professional and he gets things done. Hire him for a job well done!

A good friend of mine was facing a Class A misdemeanor (DWI-2nd), had outstanding warrants, and had missed a court date. Kevin was able to negotiate a fantastic plea deal that included waiving $4000 in fines, DWI reduced to a class B, waived drivers license surcharge, and warrants dismissed. I made a poor decision one evening after celebrating with friends, and ended up with my first (and certainly last) criminal offense of misdemeanor DWI. Kevin was referred to me by a friend, so I gave him a call and set up that first meeting. He never once made me feel rushed or like I was asking foolish questions. We ended up getting my case wrapped up in about five months, and Kevin was there every step of the way.
