Deeply Disappointed by Vinson Law Firm’s Handling and Conduct

I hired attorneys at the Vinson Law Firm, including Steve Zimmerman, Bradley Vincent, and Charlie Flack, during a critical legal situation. Unfortunately, their actions—or lack thereof—left me shocked and unprotected. On May 27, 2025, I missed a court hearing due to being physically prevented from... attending. Despite this, my attorneys filed a motion to withdraw without speaking to me, without giving me a chance to explain what happened, and without ensuring I had any legal protection going forward. Throughout the process, I found them unresponsive to urgent requests, unwilling to dig into the facts of my case, and ultimately disengaged when I needed them most. Their withdrawal under those circumstances felt like abandonment and left me to face serious consequences alone. After I posted an honest review, I received a threatening response: I was told to remove my review in exchange for a partial refund and warned that I might be sued for defamation and charged additional fees if I didn’t comply. I found this tactic deeply unethical and designed to intimidate me rather than engage in meaningful resolution. My experience has been one of disillusionment and frustration. If you’re seeking legal support that is compassionate, reliable, and committed, I would advise extreme caution before hiring this firm.

This review is false. This person has a history of posting bad reviews full of lies just about everywhere he goes. He was communicated with and informed that our firm would be withdrawing from his case. The court records show that we filed our motion to withdraw after he picked up more criminal offenses. Public court records in Williamson County show he has 4 active warrants for his arrest. He has continued to harass the members of my law firm, post negative false reviews, and threaten us. Our reputation and firm results speak volumes compared to these false allegations.

Regret Hiring

Brad Vinson did a bad job on the case he was hired to do and we ended up terminating him. He didn’t communicate effectively. He didn’t negotiate, he missed hearings, he didn’t do what was requested of him and he didn’t do what he agreed to do when he took on the case. He became ineffective council. .... We had to contact the state bar association to find out how to terminate and retain another council. Huge waste of time. Huge mistake!

A copy and pasted review from google that this user deleted. Our firm was not terminated, we filed a motion to withdraw which was granted by the judge. The client failed to communicate with our firm multiple times and was hostile towards our staff multiple times. The client's mother would not allow their adult son to make decisions regarding his representation. It's unfortunate that we had excellent opportunities to help the client but the client and their family refused to work with our firm. We always put our clients first and fight for them. Our results and other reviews speak for themselves. We wish them the best.

Brad, did so well for us. If I was ever in a bind again I would 1000% call Brad again. No one will fight harder than him for your case. Super smart and very through. He should be your very first call.

Case Dismissed

I am grateful to have Mr. Vinson represent me. Mr. Vinson focused on the truth and details I provided him and he examined the evidence from prosecution. Brad encouraged me to stay positive and focus on my job while he did his job. He always kept me informed and the outcome was exactly what our goal....

Outstanding representation; case dismissed

Brad handled my case with professionalism and respect. He consistently and promptly responded to all questions and concerns, developed an effective strategy, and negotiated successfully with the judge, achieving dismissal of my case. I certainly would hire him again.

"I highly recommend Brad as a litigator in Austin and he's my go to attorney for Criminal Law, DUI/DWI and any Criminal Law related matter. He also handles a variety of other litigation matters if he feels like he can help a client receive a positive outcome. Not only is Brad highly competent in regards to his substantive and procedural knowledge of the law, but he has extremely strong personal skills and is ethical, which are very important qualities for an attorney to have during negotiations with the opposing party, a District Attorney, and in a courtroom before a judge. He can resonate with his client's situation, is objective, and listens very well, which are rare traits and not demonstrated by many attorneys I meet. If you need a litigator in Austin and want to work with someone who really cares about making a difference then you should highly consider hiring Brad to represent you."

Also, he wrote his graduating paper on expert testimony in criminal law. I know Brad will prove a knowledgeable advocate for whoever hires him."
