I am a person who has overcome great adversity in life by always seeking to learn, grow, live with integrity, and try to help others. I am a fighter, but one who knows the difference between a laser guided missile and a shotgun. One who knows when to talk, when to walk, and when to load for bear.
Why I am an attorney? One of my greatest life joys is helping my clients ensure that they are able to provide a lasting legacy for their families. We provide this protection through our counsel, Wills and Trusts. We also provide our services to the famililies of those individuals who did not have the luxury of wonderful estate planning. Our focus is on ensuring that our client's wishes are carried out properly while at the same time doing all that is reasonable to preserve the family unit. We take that responsibility extremely seriously.
Client service is critical to our success. We only take a limited number of clients to ensure superior service. Phone calls and emails are returned within 2 hours (during normal business hrs) and client's always know the status of their case. Our flat fee ensures quality service and fair and predictable pricing for our clients. We appreciate our clients and say thank you.
We would be honored to be given the opportunity to serve you and welcome you to make an initial assessment appointment to see how we can serve you.

Was very disappointed with her performance and advice
It is my opinion that Brita Long had no interest in my case. She did very little paperwork in the timely matter, motions were denined due to being filed without the fees, after several months of "work' was still presenting papers to the court that misspelled my name and confused the opposing party's...
Unfortunately, the attorney-client privilege does not allow me to respond to the specifics of this previous clients’ review. My detailed recollections of her case differ from hers significantly. Had she had such concerns during my representation of her and expressed them to me I would have promptly addressed them.

Unsatisfied - custody case representation
I hired Ms. Long to help me with a complex and highly emotional custody case. Aside from the initial meeting, Ms. Long was unprepared and seemed to care very little about my case. She waited until the Sunday before the hearing to work on the declaration even though I had hired her in advance becaus...
I am sorry that I you are not happy.
"I have been opposing counsel with Brita Long on several cases and have always found her to be a zealous advocate for her clients while at the same time incredibly collegial and pleasant to work with. You really couldn't do better in an attorney and I highly endorse this lawyer."
"I highly endorse this lawyer. Brita and I met on opposite sides of a highly contentious case. Her open and friendly attitude and willingness to work through our clients animosity toward each other helped us come to a fair resolution for both our clients. I would and have sent potential clients to Brita, when I was conflicted out.She fights hard, but fairly for her clients."
"Brita is an excellent family law attorney. This is based on her strong command of family law and advocacy skills. I readily endorse Brita Long."
"I endorse this lawyer. Brita Long is brilliant and motivated for her clients. She is courteous to all involved in a legal case, including opposing counsel, staff, the court, and anyone else who may be involved; while still advocating strongly for her clients. I have hired Brita and her staff to do my estate planning, and I would also hire her myself for a family law matter if the need ever arose. Brita Long is a shinning example of an ethical attorney who is also an ardent and dedicated advocate for her clients."
"Brita is an excellent attorney with a solid reputation. She works hard to solve problems without incurring high costs. She is a problem-solver and a fast-thinker, and is a strong advocate for her clients."
