Caring, Honest Professional
I would highly recommend Mr. Cahan as an extremely intelligent, honest, informed professional. In addition to his knowledge of the law, Cahan embraces human values and that puts him head and shoulders above so many others I have met. I am sincerely grateful for his help and expertise in tenant-landlord issues. His consultation solved my problem so there was no need to hire when I would have.

Affordable and Quality Representation
Our only regret is that we did not find and hire Mr. Cahan sooner to help us with nightmare tenants. Mr. Cahan is an excellent attorney when you need assistance with the eviction of unreasonable and combative tenants refusing you reasonable access to your property for reasons specified in your written lease agreement.

We had an incredible experience with Richard Cahan.
We hired Richard Cahan after a tenant trashed our house and disappeared without paying the last month of rent. Richard was extremely organized. He knew our case inside and out, and helped us get a judgement against the renter which covered all of the damages, legal fees, and missing rent. He always responded to our emails in a timely fashion. He was even able to make it so we did not have to go to court and instead could give our testimony by phone. I would highly recommend him if you are looking for down to earth, competent help with a legal matter.

Genuine Superstar
I don’t write reviews or do surveys but two things made me want to write a five star review for Mr. Cahan. First of all, Mr. Cahan answered the phone right away and was completely attentive to my concerns and need to have a tenant removed from my property. He was prompt, knowledgeable and completely sincere and moved the case forward promptly with grace and wisdom. He provided his complete attention, was completely thorough and calm and extremely generous with his time and support of my case. I highly recommend him and am returning to him to again because I trust him and see his willingness to listen and help the best he can. Secondly, I read all the other reviews and he definitely deserves all the positive ones and I appreciate his response on the three star. Obvious and well spoken. Thank you Mr. Cahan ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great attorney
I contacted him on problems with my apartment and he reached out to me in just a few hours. Not only that but he answered all my questions no matter how small. He also returned my emails on a holiday. How great is that! I strongly recommend him. He is polite, understanding and upfront about everything. I just can't say enough good words about this man.

Great Lawyer and excellent service
My tenants had rented my house over 7 Years, For the first 6 Years, the payment is always on time, However, over the past year, the payment started to be late and inconsistent and finally they failed to make the monthly payments. I did sent out a 3 day vacate notice but did not work out. I live in Houston and my rental property is in Round Rock. I read the review and finally decide to hire Mr Cahan as my lawyer to handle this case. After he mailed out his version of 3 day vacate notice and he even personally delivered the notice to my rental property address, After 3 Days, I got the notice from my tenants, they were moving out. What a great result and my lawyer only charge me $100 instead of the whole flat service charge. I really appreciate my lawyer's big help!!!

You can't go wrong with Mr Cahan
He's awesome ... he gave advice before hire which worked in my favor and he's also given me hope ... haven't been to my court date yet .... But I can only hope for the best outcome....i went out on a limb and took a chance and I must say I'm happy with my decision! !!

A great laywer!
We had probably the most difficult eviction we could ever imagined! From the first consultation, Mr. Cahan was very calm and professional. He kindly took over the management of the property and all the communications with the tenant. He even took over the communication with HOA, the city and other third parties for this case. He was patient, caring and detail oriented. He personally dealt my case from beginning to the end. He argued professionally at court, provided legal guidance to us and followed through every step. I couldn’t image how I could have come through without him! I would not hesitate to seek his help again in the future!

Very Helpful
Although the name change I needed on a trust didn't take place, because I didn't have enough information, he was very helpful. I didn't meet him in person, but we communicated several times over the phone and through email. He was friendly, and I felt very comfortable with him.

I emailed Mr. Cahan through this website to ask advice. He replied quickly and requested additional information to review. Once he reviewed the information he sent an email with his thoughts. Excellent Consultation
Mr. Cahan took the time to call me back and go over my situation in depth. He gave me the advice I needed to resolve my landlord issues and he gave me peace of mind that I have somebody to turn to if needed. He is very friendly, not threatening, and seems to genuinely care about helping out people in need.

Very knowledgeable and helpful
After speaking to Mr Cahan, I felt that he is someone who cares and gave sound advise to educate me on my situation and to try and help me. Although I didn't pursue his service nor asked about his prices for his services due to my financial state, I would have had him retained for my case. Great Customer Service and Honest
Richard Cahan, is a really nice man and knowledgeable attorney. I consulted with him concerning a court case I had coming up. Although I didn't end up hiring him. He listened to my concerns and gave me advice on the best way to handle my case, and scenarios for any possible follow up action that might need to be taken and this was all without paying him a dime. To top everything off he even called me to follow up after my court case to see how everything had gone. If I ever have any legal problems in the future I will definitely be contacting Richard Cahan and would advise anyone to seek his legal counsel.

I was so lucky to find Richard Cahan
I rented a property for almost 7 years where I got along very well with my landlord. The last year he turned verbally abusive. I had another year to go and did not want to deal with him any longer. I stumbled across Richard Cahan and was surprised for a minimum price he would handle all letters, phone calls between the landlord and myself.. I had a stress free year of not dealing with a landlord that treated me poorly. I would highly recommend Richard if you have issues with you're landlord.
