FDA employee true account by VAChung

I had run through at least 20 different firms when trying to find representation for my federal case involving the FDA...and it was so disheartening I had to do this after 21 years of service to that agency at the time...to say it was exhausting and discouraging was an understatement. I found Aaron ...and his firm after three weeks of searching the internet and calling different firms, who charged ridiculous and outrageous amounts of money for representation...I had reached my wit's end before I found Aaron and his firm. I spoke to him and his staff and started the ball rolling for my case. They worked with me regarding fees and payment, went over the relevant issues, and looked at all scenarios to negotiate a settlement and help me to move from my area to get out from under that mgnt line...the mngt was pacified when they saw I hired this firm and for while they left me alone... I was shocked and surprised that they had attorneys who represented federal employees in their cases...Aaron kept it real and Andrew Young who was representing me at the time, also did. They provided expertise and possible outcomes and worked with me and tried their best to mediate and finally go to EEOC court regarding my issues...it was a long process and I had to keep my documentation in order and fight for myself as well as they, but I COULD NOT HAVE DONE THIS WITHOUT THEIR HELP...IT FELT LIKE I WAS FIGHTING FOR MY LIFE AND MY CAREER DEALING WITH THIS FEDERAL AGENCY AND ITS CORRUPT MANAGEMENT LINE...AND I COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT AARON AND ANDREW'S HELP...I am happier now as I have moved from the previous mngt line and their branch and Aaron and Andrew had negotiated a settlement agreement with the FDA for my restitution...but again I COULD NEVER HAVE DONE THIS WITHOUT THEIR HELP...fighting the govt is exhausting, disheartening, full of pitfalls and dishonest mgnt people and can make you question your life's purpose, but I am grateful to have found this firm and its attorneys...this is a true account and someday I will write a book about my struggles and those who helped me.

FERS Disabilty retirement

I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and was in a disposition due to my health to submit a disability retirement . Aaron and all of this first have been extraordinary. Bethany Sissons specifically held my hand the entire way through . From assisting with all paperwork and even going the extra mile... to ensure my employer was timely with all request . The customer service and compassion for my case and condition is what I liked the most. I highly recommend if you are searching for law firm for retirment or federal government cases to use this law firm . Not only did I successfully get approved my FERS retirement but I have the privilege to be represented by this firm in an additional case . Thank you again for your outstanding services.

A Lawyer Who Listens

I was accused of harassment and faced stiff disciplinary penalties. After contacting several other law offices (many of which included a consultation fee), I finally found a lawyer who not only listened to my case but also understood the nuance of the situation. Jacquelyn Trevino worked with me to co...nstruct a coherent, cohesive defense. Ultimately, I was able to retain my position. The resolution wasn't entirely satisfactory due to extenuating circumstances (agency personality conflicts, agency omitting key information, agency staffing issues, slow agency legal counsel, and a vengeful HR rep) and an overly delayed response from the agency, but I received the overall outcome I sought. Jacquelyn worked with me to gain more insight, asked for evidence to support my claims, represented me orally and in writing, and attempted to appeal on my behalf. I fully believe that without her help I would have not retained my employment. I would recommend this law office to any federal employee facing disciplinary or adverse actions.

ATTORNEY ELLEN SPROVACH

Attorney Ellen Sprovach is unequivocally exceptional! I wholeheartedly recommend her services for anyone encountering workplace-related issues. A few months ago, I had the privilege of engaging with her, seeking legal representation for my case involving discrimination and wrongful termination. Ellen... graciously accepted my case, and it proved to be an absolute blessing. From the outset, Ellen demonstrated an unwavering commitment to understanding the intricacies of my work and the essence of my character, without any primary focus on pecuniary matters. Her genuine concern for her clients is evident, as she tirelessly advocates for their rights and well-being. Ellen wasted no time in taking swift action, diligently and tenaciously fighting for my cause. She displayed her legal prowess, resulting in a resounding victory in my case. Not only did we prevail, but Ellen also successfully secured compensation for the emotional turmoil and distress I endured as a consequence of the workplace incident. It takes an extraordinary individual to possess such a profound passion for their profession and the ability to empathize deeply with others, allowing them to wholeheartedly immerse themselves in their clients' experiences. Ellen Sprovach embodies this rare quality, which sets her apart as an exceptional legal advocate. Ellen, I am eternally grateful for your unwavering dedication and support. Your compassion, expertise, and unwavering commitment to justice have left an indelible mark on my life. I will forever cherish your invaluable assistance throughout this challenging case. May you be blessed abundantly, Ellen! I extend my sincerest wishes for continued success in your legal career, as you continue to bring hope, justice, and solace to those who seek your guidance. With utmost gratitude and respect,

OPM. Disability retirement reconsideration- Air Traffic Control

If you are applying for a federal disability retirement hire a lawyer from the start, preferably this lawyer. The OPM process seems cut and dry but there are things you need to know before you submit your package. My son had to apply for a reconsideration because he was not aware of those things. We...rsing provided a free consultation and it was apparent from the start he knew the OPM process and ATC disability in particular. He knew from the onset why the application was denied and what was need for it to get approved., specifically statements from the attending physicians that addressed the mandatory prerequisites for approval. I asked about the chance for approval and he said he wouldn’t take the case if he didn’t think it would be approved. So we hired him. There are time lines you have to be aware of also. We needed an extension and the letter from OPM stated the request had to be submitted in 30 days but it didn’t say 30 days from date of letter or that it had to be received (not post marked) within 30-days. As anticipated my son’s retirement was approved. Wersing did post-approval follow up to ensure we new the next steps in the OPM process.
