Must hire!

When I got Mr. Wood on my case it looked somewhat bad. it took a little longer to get resolved than I would've liked but all things considered it wasn't as bad as l thought it was gonna be not quite at all. I know it was because Wood fought for me convincing the judge and the DAs to give me another c...hance and he did a great job at that. So glad I still have a future. FOR REAL DOGS. Better call Wood!

THE BEST OF THE BEST !

My Boyfriend was charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon… he has priors/he was already on probation for a 2nd degree offense. I gave Wood all the background  information and he and his Investigator and when we got to court after we ditched his court-appointed, Wood got all of the serious... felonies cases dismissed (one was the aggravated assault charge) and on the motion to revoke/adjudicate his community supervision, he had to take a small amount of time in which we didn’t hesitate to take because it was a better than best deal that could have been put on the table for his situation ! NOT TO MENTION EVERYTHING SERIOUS HE GOT THEM DISMISSED! Lastly , I contacted Mr. Wood because of my previous and personal experiences with him spanding back over 10+ years ago , he was my attorney and might I add we received the exact same services I received. All these years later Mr. Wood is still doing God’s work ! The minute he was hired I told my boyfriend from this moment forward you can rest assure EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE OK , and IT ABSOLUTELY WAS!!! thank you so much , I say this to anyone reading these reviews wondering should you hire him , THE ANSWER IS YES , These are real reviews ! and you have found THE MAN WITH THE PLAN! ,

Case dismissed

I was charged with retaliation (threatening to kill a police officer). I was acting stupid and of course I didn’t mean any of that. Pretty sure the police knew it but they don’t take kindly to perceived threats. Wood had the case thrown out in less than ten minutes. Better call Wood!

Thank you, Attorney Wood!

My son was arrested and charged with Aggravated Robbery and Felon with a Weapon cases based on a lie. The police arrested him with ZERO evidence other than lies told by an acquaintance. Sad to say the DA accepted charges based on nothing but the say so of a known liar and criminal. Seems like the ...cops round up whoever and like magic - “Another case closed!” NOT. Then the judge held him at NO BOND because of his past convictions. Wood convinced the DA’s to dismiss it but in case they wouldn’t, Wood kept asking theme to go to the grand jury with it so he could set it for trial. Took a month or so but finally both cases were dismissed. I told my son to pick his acquaintances better but sometimes even your own kids need to learn some lessons on their own.

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"Harris and I defended a mutual client together against a serious criminal accusation. Harris was appointed to the client after I had obtained a mistrial for the client and was removed without cause. The client wanted to keep me on the case, so I had to appeal my removal all the way to the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals to get reinstated. After being reinstated, I managed to get a dismissal for the client, but only after Harris's hard work! During Harris's representation of the client, he immediately ordered the trial transcript and diligently acted in the client's defense. Harris also assisted the the client and I in getting me reinstated as his attorney. I have found that Harris's clients have no problem trusting in his ability and trusting in the basic fact that he really does care. I would trust Harris to defend my own family."
