Excellent Attorney
My brother was arrested and charged with DWI for just doing the RIGHT thing and sleeping one off. TOMBALL PD arrested him and charged him... he was NOT "driving" while intoxicated and the officers knew or should have known that. The officers assumed that just because he was asleep that he had to ...

Excellent , Highly Recommend
I got into some serious trouble. Charge was 3G Aggravated Assault Deadly Weapon. Pretrial "plea bargain" was no bargain- the DA wanted me to sign for ten years TDC and said NO PROBATION. Judge said no to probation too! Attorney Wood fought them through a jury trial and convinced the jury to do the ri...

Highly recommend!
Harris Wood is still my attorney for 3 felony cases I caught at once for silly family crap that the state picked up because the investigators were obviously desperate for hits. Anyway, Harris has been super patient, kind, professional, and good in communicating the goals regarding the cases. The fee ...
Sharenda, I know you and I had a bumpy road at times. Even so, I feel that you know that I continued to fight for you even during the bad times, and there aren't many more things in life that cause more stress than multiple prosecutions. I do wish that I had been a bit more punctual on two of the court dates, but criminal lawyers often have multiple commitments and most of the time these things are beyond our ability to work around in a perfect manner. Even so, two dismissals and a "deferred adjudication" was a reasonably good outcome.
"Mr. Wood is an excellent advocate for his clients. I have personally seen his commitment to conducting thorough investigations and extensive preparation for trial. Mr. Wood is an extremely well seasoned trial attorney."
"Harris and I defended a mutual client together against a serious criminal accusation. Harris was appointed to the client after I had obtained a mistrial for the client and was removed without cause. The client wanted to keep me on the case, so I had to appeal my removal all the way to the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals to get reinstated. After being reinstated, I managed to get a dismissal for the client, but only after Harris's hard work! During Harris's representation of the client, he immediately ordered the trial transcript and diligently acted in the client's defense. Harris also assisted the the client and I in getting me reinstated as his attorney. I have found that Harris's clients have no problem trusting in his ability and trusting in the basic fact that he really does care. I would trust Harris to defend my own family."
"I endorse this lawyer. I tried a capital murder case with Harris and realized how bright and energetic he is. He is an excellent attorney and very informed as to the law."
