Trustworthy and Always Available

I am a green card holder and I have a poor English. I hired another famous lawyer over two year ago to defend me against an alleged domestic assault but he failed. Later I hired Harris. I found Harris is very trustworthy and can sit with you to listen to my story which was told in poor english from a...n Immigration. He found evidence that supported my case and cared about me. I could not be more happy with his services and will recommend him to my family and friends.

Highly recommend!

Harris Wood is still my attorney for 3 felony cases I caught at once for silly family crap that the state picked up because the investigators were obviously desperate for hits. Anyway, Harris has been super patient, kind, professional, and good in communicating the goals regarding the cases. The fee ...service was unsurpassed AND the payment plan is very flexible. I had reservations at first, but he has been nothing short of wonderful and he's STILL going to bat for my best resolution. I will recommend him to others just how he ewas recommended to me

Sharenda, I know you and I had a bumpy road at times. Even so, I feel that you know that I continued to fight for you even during the bad times, and there aren't many more things in life that cause more stress than multiple prosecutions. I do wish that I had been a bit more punctual on two of the court dates, but criminal lawyers often have multiple commitments and most of the time these things are beyond our ability to work around in a perfect manner. Even so, two dismissals and a "deferred adjudication" was a reasonably good outcome.

Outstanding Attorney!

After meeting with Mr. Wood I felt that I was in great hands. He understood my situation, and communicated very well what could happen with my case. His advice and assessment of my case was spot on. Being familiar with the courtroom setting, he was very professional and interacted very well the fello...w lawyers and prosecutors. After only appearing in court twice, my case was dismissed. I would highly recommend this attorney!

Knows the law

Mr. Wood advised us very well on this case. He informed us of our rights and the best and worst case scenarios. I felt very comfortable with him and not judged. With his advice, we were able to get the charges dropped.

"Harris and I defended a mutual client together against a serious criminal accusation. Harris was appointed to the client after I had obtained a mistrial for the client and was removed without cause. The client wanted to keep me on the case, so I had to appeal my removal all the way to the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals to get reinstated. After being reinstated, I managed to get a dismissal for the client, but only after Harris's hard work! During Harris's representation of the client, he immediately ordered the trial transcript and diligently acted in the client's defense. Harris also assisted the the client and I in getting me reinstated as his attorney. I have found that Harris's clients have no problem trusting in his ability and trusting in the basic fact that he really does care. I would trust Harris to defend my own family."
