Very attentive lawyer, always responded and worked the court around my schedule so that I wouldnt have to miss work or school. Got my case dismissed without having to go trial and let me know the morning I had court that my case was dismissed and I didnt even have to go. Very helpful being that the w...eather was ugly. She went above and beyond for me and I really appreciate it. Would recommend her to anyone that needs legal advice or an attorney for criminal court. She wont waste your time and I was very lucky to get her as a court appointed attorney. A true blessing. In the end she saved me money and valuable time. I told her I had to start school before my next court date and she was able to reschedule afew weeks before I had to start, then, when I was supposed to go she texted me before I even pulled out the driveway at 10 30 a hour before the docket was even getting called that I didnt have to come. This woman knows what she is doing and understands the struggles in life when dealing with court. Court is never a good expierence and I've been back and forth to court many times I've had paid attorneys in the past and never have I had it that easy going and smooth when dealing with court. Cynthia Henley was my court appointed attorney. I really didn't know what to expect as this was my very first interaction with the law and attorneys. I have to say she is a phenomenal attorney. She was well prepared for my case and she prepared me well for what was needed to have this case dismissed.... We'd hired Cynthia Henley in regard to domestic dispute. After we paid, we really had no follow up with Cynthia. As a matter of fact, we had to repeatedly follow up with her to ask questions / ask her to dig deeper into issues. She repeatedly showed up 1-2 hours late every time we had a court date.... In our dispute, there wasn't enough evidence to continue the case forward, it should have been dismissed a long time ago. But Cynthia did nothing to try to resolve the issue. As a matter of fact, rather than try follow up on the lack of evidence, to talk to the opposing lawyer, to negotiate on our behalf - she literally did nothing. Once we called her to ask what was being done to our case, she had the nerve to lie and tell us that she was sick the entire weekend and was not able to do any work. She was not sick, her Facebook profile showed she was actually out on the town. Her only tactic (in our court case) was to keep resetting the court date. By her resetting the court date, it also worked in her favor as she continued to get money every month. We ultimately got tired of her antics and found a competent lawyer. He was able to get the court case dismissed with a few weeks. He didn't try to stall the court or us. He actually dug into the evidence and pointed out to us and the opposing lawyer that there wasn't enough evidence to continue the case. Had Cynthia done her job, our court case would have been dismissed a year before it actually was. At the end of the day, if you're going to be paying a lawyer to represent your court case, they should investigate what evidence there is or isn't, they should follow up with you and the opposing attorney, they should provide clear cut answers on what the status of your court case is and they should never give you excuses on how busy they are or show up hours late for your court case. You are paying them to do their job. You are not paying them to hear excuses about why they can't do their job.

I was charged with a felony for child endangerment. I found Ms.Cynthia Henley on avvo and had a consultation session and requested her to be my attorney on this case. Once she was my attorney, it took her 1 session to get the case dismissed. Honestly, I did not believe that this case was going awa...y without a trial. I would highly recommend Cynthia for anyone seeking a criminal lawyer, especially in a domestic violence case. I was charged with “assault on a family member” and Cynthia got the charge DISMISSED!! thank god!!. This was a very difficult ordeal for me, considering i am in the professional workforce an...d this type of charge on my record would have been detrimental to my career. Cynthia was the second lawyer i hired for this case, and she was very diligent to know all aspects of the event and took endless notes to prepare for the event we would go to trial, considering i wanted nothing more than “not guilty” or a dismissal. Luckily we didn't go to trial, the DA dismissed the case, and the reason my case was dismissed had to do with the way cynthia would fight for me in her conversations with the DA. She would consistently challenge all charges brought against me, and the DA finally decided the case was not worth pursuing and moved for a dismissal. Awesome job!!
