Mark Christopher Lane

I wandered into Mark Lane's office seeking some help for a marriage that was ending after 26 yrs. My husband said he didn't love me anymore and had someone else, I was so scarred. I was broken and deeply wounded. I didn't know where or what to do. The day I called the office Mark told me to come in... right now. Mark and his staff sat with me for a couple of hours allowing me to explain everything to them, they were so patient with me as I told my story thru my tears. They are really good at handing you a box of tissues. They did not rush me to get thru my story. They gave me time. In fact there were several times that I needed encouragement and support, and whether it was on the phone or an actual office visit, they always made me feel like I was their only client. They cared about ME! They explained everything to me. Mark came across as a very confident strong attorney. He knew his stuff. He told me what would happen and it happened just the way he said it would. I could not have asked for a better outcome. He made sure I was taken care of after so many years of marriage. My husband couldn't just abandon me like he wanted to, Mark made sure of that. Everyone was so kind and loving and supportive. It was a true Blessing when I walked into his office. I would never have thought I would ever receive so much love and support from an attorney. But that's what you get with this office. They really love and care for their clients. They are also very confident and knowledgeable in what they do. I would highly recommend Mark C. Lane and his office to anyone seeking an attorney. A Special Thank You to you Mark C. Above and beyond my expectations. I had already been through one horrible experience with a BAD attorney in Fort Worth. Mark Lane was patient, informative and very honest with me. He let me know right up front what I was up against and there were no easy answers to my situation. My divorce was awf...ul from day one. The child custody issues went from bad to ridiculous. Mark helped through the process. He allowed me to come to his office and spent a lot of time explaining every issue. He didn't charge me for the weekly office visits which I needed just to stay sane! He even prayed for me when I was there. I spoke to many other clients while I was in the office and everyone seemed to have the same opinion of Mark Lane. His office staff was knowledgable in every situation. They always called me back when I had questions. I have read some of the reviews on this site and they must be people that are just bitter from their own divorces because this attorney was different and truly a good guy. I would recommend him to my own mother. Even my ex has since told me he would recommend him!

This attorney was good to start with, very proactive and seemed to be working for me. When a situation with my job forced me to relocate this firm not only stopped communicating with me and would not return a phone call but stopped providing updated case information and legal advice about how to pro...ceed with my case. Before I fired them I left 14 messages over 35 days and had only one call from them and that was only to ask a question posed by the opposing attorney still no advice for me on my relocation. This office then became very rude and when I fired them they submitted their withdrawal of counsel for the same day in a separate court as a hearing that they never informed me of was set. When I went to court for the withdrawal of counsel I was slammed with a new hearing and no notice of the hearing. Due to the information withheld from me by this firm I lost custody of my daughter to her mother who had not contacted or visited her for 2 straight years while she was residing in another country (not job related she just wanted to be there). This is the best attorney my ex-wife could have ever had. Their lack of communication has cost me not only their attorney fees and the custody of my daughter but the added expense of gaining adequate counsel to represent me. I am still in the process of undoing their inadequate and non-communicative representation.

This was the worst experience of my life dealing with Mark Lane's office. I never once called them to ask any questions. When we went to court (1 time) I was pawned me off to another attorney. They never returned my calls when I tried to get a bill and it took weeks to obtain one. Once I receive...d the bill it was outrageous for the service provided. I wouldn't even recommend him to my worst enemy. I will tell everyone I know about what Mark Lane is all about.

He will not return phone calls. He tells you to show up for court, you do and he says oh you didn't need to come ? Then his office girls don't even know what they are doing , they say your court has been moved. Mark doesn't show up either so the Judge grants the divorce I have been fighting for c...ustody all this time and would have won ! I have all these papers mark lead me to believe were in effect not even signed by a judge ! Been 6 months no decree no custody papers my ex keeps changing my days and times I'm going to the LAW BAR
