Wonderful lawyer.

Mark Lane and his team are amazing. I had little hope of protecting my children from abuse at the hands of my ex-in-laws, who had court ordered visitation from another state (Arkansas). Because, of the abuse both of my children have mental health issues. Mark and his team got the case transferred to... a Texas court, once the case was moved to Texas (Tarrant county) my ex-in-laws have no access and my ex who admitted in court he knew his parents were abusing the children only gets visitation per the discretion of the mental health providers. Thank You! I would, will and do recommend Mark Lane to anyone seeking a lawyer.

Awful

We had a case that we hired Mark to assist us with. He told us that since we were a returning customer he would work win us on the billing and give us a break. We only worked with Pam on the case. We showed up to court to find it would be undisputed due to the opposing party being a no show. We filed... the papers and updated custody with the clerk and they charged us $5500. They billed us for Ike having to call to find out when the court date was. They even billed us when we called about discrepancies with the bill. Their office personnel are incompetent. Nobody should ever use this firm. With the amount of family law firms out there, Marks firm should be passed on.

Custody

I hired Mark last year to help me with a custody modification. I was now caring for our child the majority of the time, and was fully responsible for driving to and from visitation ( an hour drive each way). things needed to change, and Mark took care of all of it. Im not saying it wasnt a long and t...edious process, because it was. But Mark and his staff always kept me informed of updates, and everything ended up working out in my favor. I would recommend him to anyone needing an attorney.

Custody

I made a mistake at a young age that brought a miracle into my life. But the mistake of choosing the wrong person to make it. After 3 years of peace, I told him he couldn't just stop by and pick her up at a moments notice. Of course he didn't like that because he's used to getting anything he wants. ...Out of the blue one day I came home to someone waiting with papers saying we are going to court. I freaked out and wouldn't let her go with him thinking she wouldn't come back. I found Mark on google and it began the best experience I have ever had. He is more than knowledgeable on custody matters. So much so that it took one court date and we had this all settled. I guess all it took was someone bringing my ex down a notch.

Child custody battle? Try War...

So the father of my children decided I wasn't fit to be a parent anymore because instead of letting them go with him while he was drunk, I asked him to sober up. Ah but nobody gets to tell him what to do. So he decides on his next visit he is just going to take them and not give them back. I don't ev...er want my children to be away from their father I just don't want them to be in danger because of his mistake. Instead of talking about he runs with them and hides them. My problem was we never made an actual agreement we just had a trust that is broken now. My mother searched high and low for someone to handle this mess. She googled Custody attorney and she found the BEST!!! Not only did he get my children back he made sure that their father understood he can't just do what he wants when he wants. At first it wasn't easy, especially court... He bad mouthed me in front of everyone. Little did he know Mark cared about what is said to his clients. He went to the judge and the judge called him up to the stand and he left with his tail between his legs. Now we have an agreement in writing that neither of us will break. Thank you Mark for bringing my kids home!
