I was arrested on June 14, 2017 for allegedly Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) in Plano, TX (Collin County). This caused a whirlwind of emotions for me and I didn’t know how to properly channel it all. I consulted with several attorneys about the matter, and finally came across Carl’s name in Avvo. But yet again, as an attorney himself, Carl was able to help me mitigate the effect of this as much as possible, as he coached me on how to answer such questions and what exactly to disclose to both the Bar and my school. Carl is extremely well educated in forensics, as he has achieved the Forensic-Lawyer designation and regularly receives training (in forensics and gas chromatography) at the prestigious Axion labs up in Chicago. Since I consented to a blood test, this was crucial for me, as I needed an attorney that knew enough about the subject to help me put up a fight in court. This was especially needed for my case, because Collin County courts don’t like to dismiss DWIs since Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) is headquartered in Collin County, which is something that Carl’s assistant, Sandy, made clear to me upfront. Carl was very honest with me, giving me the good, the bad, and the ugly of my case, which made me realize that it was probably in my best interest to not only testify myself, but to also hire an expert witness to help me out with my defense. Carl is great at networking, so he had a list of experts ready to go and highly recommended a few to me. The expert was easy to work with and helped me out tremendously in my defense. We went to trial, where Carl was able to curate a strategy specific to my case and my background that helped me earn an Acquittal, the best result I could have hoped for! After my trial, the jury claimed that Carl was “A Man for the People,” and I 100% agree. At this point, I no longer look at Carl as my attorney, I see him as a big-brother/mentor type of role model in my life. As someone who will be entering the legal industry soon, Carl has shown me what it takes to succeed and how I should go about carrying myself, handling clients, networking with industry professionals, and interacting with the courts. He’s given me advice on how to handle the stress of 1L exams, how to go about interviewing, what I should do during the summer, and he even offered to help me study for the bar once I graduate from law school. The man is constantly busy and has a personal life of his own, but he will always make time for you. While I hope to never find myself in trouble again, I will definitely keep a relationship with Carl, as he has moved Heaven and Earth for me. Honestly, words cannot express how happy I am with my result, as I feel like I have been given a 2nd chance and that I can start to live life more comfortably now. THANK YOU CARL & SANDY!!!

Carl is super professional and helped me in getting the best outcome for my DWI case.
