James Earl Hensley Jr.

Thought he would do the job to the best of his ability, because of all the great reviews I read, and felt very confident in handing him thousands of dollars to fight for us, and he thoroughly let us down. He didn't do anything he said he would, never listened to anything, and couldn't remember anythi...ng important dealing with our case. He was too busy running his own mouth, and judging others, to listen and care about what was really going on. He refused to look at any of the evidence we had, and ended up screwing us come court day. We aren't any better off than we were before hiring him, and out of a lot of money. We now can't afford to hire someone who would really help us! Very disappointed, and still living in hell with no relief in sight! Hire someone who will actually care, listen, and fight for you, which, is NOT this man!!! He's arrogant, and a huge waste of time and money!!!!

I would rate him 10 stars, but we are only allowed 5. He went above and beyond in our case, in our opinion. He handled our case great. He kept in contact, answered any questions we had and was very patient when it took a while to get the other party to sign what we needed. We will use him again, and ...refer all our friends to him. You will not go wrong choosing this man to represent you!

Our case had to deal with DHS, which is a system not a lot of people are up to date on, the ins and out process and every day ups and downs of that department. Mr. Hensley was recommended to me due to his knowledge of the system itself, as well as family law. Dealing with small children like I have i...s a must, given I have 2 children with disabilities, and the fact that Mr. Hensley was so compassionate to them made it easier for me to hire him. He is straight to the point, does exactly what he says he's going to do and made the process we had to go through, so much easier to deal with. Any time I had questions, day or night, he was there for me. My children were shown the utmost respect and care as well, he included them in our case and took the time to meet them, which was comforting to me to know that he is very dedicated to his job and his clients. Mr. Hensley has a great "go-getter" personality and doesn't stop working on your case until he is satisfied with the outcome. I have already recommended Mr. Hensley to several friends and family- my case was closed as promised

With little time to spare in a case that could very easily have gone a different direction, Jim Hensley stepped in with only days left until my trial date concerning an expungement case. He stayed in contact with me throughout the entire process and did everything in his power to insure it was comple...ted in a timely manner. I have had terrible experiences with lawyers. I have hired two that never had time for me and never took the time to really understand what was going on. I would leave their offices feeling as if I was defeated already. Jim is exactly the opposite. When I first spoke to him, he listened to everythin...g I had to say and every concern I had. He told me exactly what could be done, what I could expect and how long it would take. I left his office feeling so encouraged and knowing that I finally had a lawyer that actually cared. I don't have to try and track Jim down to figure out what is going on with my case. He contacts me on a regular basis to let me know how everything is proceeding. When I have a question I know that I can call or email Jim and get a very quick response. Jim doesn't stop working just because it is after hours. I have talked to him on several evenings and even on weekends. I feel that I am not just a case to Jim. He recognizes that custody cases are very difficult emotionally and he is very responsive to all of my concerns. To say that Jim goes above and beyond is an understatement.
