I had a dispute with a furniture company where they delivered defective furniture and lamps, and because of the way the company was organized, it made it very difficult to settle this legally (officer names were hidden, the company wasn't registered in Cook County, etc.). Additionally, even if it wen...

I had an upsetting experience with a company that buys credit card debt and then sues to try to collect on it. Apparently some lowlife got hold of my name and social security number, fraudulently opened a credit card in my name in North Carolina, used it to buy a $3,000 refrigerator, and then default...

I allowed crooks into my computer who claimed to be cleaning it up. They got my checking account information then transferred over $4,000 out via zelle, This firm allowed me to hire them pro bono -- paying them NO fees directly myself. Giving them much specific information and patiently waiti...

"I strongly endorse this lawyer. Mr. Edelman is well respected and well known in the legal community. I used to oppose him when I defended debt collectors (for close to 20 years) and always saw him as a worthy opponent and an honorable attorney. He knows what he's talking about and he truly looks out for the "little guy". I would be more than happy to refer my friends to him for legal advice for Mr. Edelman to file suit for my friends."
"The answers of Mr. Edelman are consistently accurate, analytic, and customized to the needs of the Avvo askers. These are exactly the qualities that every client would look for when hiring an attorney."

"As I write this, I am shocked that Attorney Edelman only has a 9.9 rating on AVVO. If there is a better consumer attorney out there, I haven't met him. Dan is the go to attorney for FCRA claims and other consumer law issues. A perfect 10.0 in my book. If you need a consumer attorney and you reside in Dan's locale, hire him immediately."
"I endorse this lawyer. Dan is possibly the most feared class action lawyer on consumer matters in the US. He and his firm has stopped untold number abuses by big corporations and mortgage companies."
