Ms. Baltabols obtained her J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2009. Mara is an accomplished consumer lawyer with a wide-range of experience litigating in state and federal court. Mara was named a Super Lawyers Rising Star for civil defense litigation in 2013, and for consumer law in 2016-2018. She was a key attorney in the Hammer v. Residential Credit Solutions, Inc. (2013-cv-06397)jury trial against a major mortgage servicer that resulted in a $2,000,000 verdict upheld on post-trial motions. Mara has a been a featured speaker at the NACBA’s 23rd Annual Convention 2015 discussing effective adversary proceedings and taking your best cases to trial. Mara's focus area is now class actions.
