Attorney Angela I. Green began her practice of law in 2001 as an attorney in the Rocky Hill firm of the late Richard D. Tulisano, Esq.    In 2005, she commenced her independent family law practice in West Hartford, Connecticut.  Prior to becoming an attorney, she worked in Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Industry working in clinical research.   Working in this industry she gained extensive knowledge about the drug and medical device research and approval process.     Her legal practice evolved to include Divorce Mediation, and Collaborative Practice as well as Personal Injury, representing victims of serious accidents and victims of defective medications and medical devices and implants. 

Attorney Green graduated from Hartford College for Women in 1990 cum laude and Clark University in 1992. She received her Juris Doctorate from Western New England College School of Law in 2001. She worked for Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Industry for 12 years prior to becoming an Attorney.  She was born and raised in Hunedoara, Romania and emigrated to the United States in 1987, prior to the fall of the communist regime.  Attorney Green is married to Derek S. Green, also a mediator and has two children.   She is a violinist in the making, with limited practice time, depending on her workload.

Attorney Green is a member of the Member of Connecticut Bar Association, Member of Connecticut Council for Divorce Mediation, Member of New England Chapter of Association of Conflict Resolution, Board member of the Collaborative Divorce Professionals, member of the Collaborative Divorce Team of Connecticut and International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.   Attorney Green serves as a Family Special Master in the Hartford Judicial District, Volunteer attorney for the Hartford Volunteer Attorney Program and Attorney Mediator for the Connecticut Bar Association Resolution of Legal Fee Disputes Program

Comprehensive...Compassionate... Tough
I am very grateful to Angela for her superb representation of me during my Divorce proceedings. Divorce is difficult... her approach is mediation for a fair settlement without running up unnecessary legal fees. She was thorough, compassionate about my family situation (kids) yet tough when it came to defending me. I would highly recommend Angela to anyone as I truly feel her approach is best, generating a fair outcome while at the same time defending the rights of her clients. She was outstanding!

Difficult times made easier
I wanted to thank Atty Green for helping my wife and I work through the divorce process. We had no idea where to start and were really nervous about the whole process. Atty. Green explained the process and worked as a guide as we moved forward. We had a few sticking points that made it tough near the end , but Atty Green listened to both of us and coached us what the pro's and con's were for our choices but left the ultimate decision up to us. Thanks for helping make this difficult time go as smooth as possible

My Experience With Angela Green
Upon meeting Angela I just knew she was the right person to handle my personal case. At this trying and very difficult time she was able to keep my perspective on getting my concerns handled with the upmost professionalism even when I became a little hard to handle.. She kept the focus on the situation , I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs mediator. Angela explained things in pretty good details and we were able to work through everything in a very timely manner. She explained to me that she could not take sides in the situation but she made sure that she listened to both sides and handled each and every concern .. She made a very difficult and extremely sensitive situation bearable and not so hard to deal with. Angela gave me the peace of mind knowing that I didn't have to worry about the legal aspects of my personal case. When it came time to go to court she was right there guiding me along to help me knowing that , I didn't have a clue as what to expect or how to handle or what to do. SHE LISTENED to my concerns my fears and that meant a lot. This was life changing event for me and it was handled smoothly and with the upmost privacy . She is a god sent Very Compassionate and fair.

Don't look any further!!
If you and your soon to be ex chose mediation, be smart and use Attorney Green!! She is absolutely amazing! She is fair, diplomatic and empathetic to each individual and mutually as a divorcing couple. She guided us effortlessly through what seemed like an intimidating process. Her staff is similarly incredible and always willing to assist for anything. If you can utilize mediation with Angela you'll also save thousands!!!! I'm so happy to have found her!!!! She's simply the best!

Attorney Angela Green is an excellent choice for a stress free divorce
I would highly recommend Attorney Angela Green as an extremely professional, knowledgeable and compassionate attorney for the difficult process of divorce. She handled all the paper work and court appearances with unending patience, simple direction, and a high sense of insight into the difficulty of this process. I can honestly say that Attorney Green made what was a difficult life event, relatively stress free by her compassionate and professional handling of my divorce. Attorney Green was able to navigate us to a mutually agreeable divorce agreement.
Angela had a way of defusing stressful situations and was able to remain very neutral throughout the process. She was patient and silent when she needed to be and was able to redirect situations so that the process of mediation could proceed in a timely manner. When we went to court the clerk complimented our paper work and said that few couples come in with everything in such good order.

Caring Knowledgeable Helpful

Highly Recommended for Your Mediated Divorce
Attorney Angela Green was extremely competent, a pleasure to deal with, and she made the very negative issue of divorce as pleasant an experience as possible. She is amazing!
Angela is a warm, kind, professional, educated woman. She helped me mediate through my divorce painlessly and without any additional stress. She instantly developed a rapport with my ex husband and I. Angela was able to guide us through a few bumps in the road by providing us with clear, fair options. She really should be commended for her professionalism. She was also great at working with my difficult schedule.

Flexible and Forthright
Divorce/separation is a difficult process for any couple. It does not matter if the couple is parting on amicable terms or complete vitriol. Angela has the knowledge of the process and the remarkable gift to defuse the situation if an emotional exchange arises. The focus is centered upon a fair exchange and if a children are involved: they are paramount. The first few steps moving into separation can shape the dynamics of a relationship for years to come. If a child is involved and resentment is present - this could carry serious ramifications. Angela continuously pulls the focus to the child or distilling the simple facts in order to compromise. In cases regarding children, she stated the parents may not be able to live together, but a framework created based on understanding and peaceful resolution will give the child two loving parents who are solely dedicated to them regardless of the situation at hand. Angela served as a great mediator and with her assistance gave us the tools to be the best parents we can be. As a sidenote. she was extremely flexible with meeting times and methods of communication (Skype, etc.).

A Gift for a Mediated Divorce
Using Atty Green for a mediated divorce was a gift. She is compassionate, while maintaining clear boundaries and neutrality. She values teaching/coaching her clients how to negotiate in a respectful and productive manner. I most valued her ability to point out that neither of us was 'wrong' but that different personality styles and perspectives can create communication frustrations in a marriage that may not be repairable. This is so far from a traditional adversarial legal viewpoint! Meanwhile she made sure we each had excellent review attorney advice and provided some guidance in choosing review attorneys (at our request). As stressful a time as this was, having Atty Green's involvement lead to a far better outcome. I also appreciated her initial strong encouragement to interview several mediators before deciding on one which speaks to her character and integrity in wanting to be sure that both parties involved were comfortable and in agreement. I believe we both felt listened to, heard and understood (even if we didn't always like what we heard as is so common in a divorce) I highly recommend Atty Green for mediation whether it be divorce or any other type of mediation.

I have already referred friends to Atty Green. I spoke very highly of her to co-workers, who then came back, and confided that they were considering divorce, and wanted her information. Her mediation style is gentle, and friendly, while still being professional and informative. Our last appointment was sad, as if I was losing a friend.

Angela was extremely knowledgeable, as well as very caring, considerate, and proactive. She kept us informed every step of the way. She listened extremely well, heard exactly what we said, and gave us answers to every question. GREAT rapport with clients. I would retain her again in a heartbeat!!

Successful Mediation
My ex-wife and I were married for twenty-two years and we mutually decided that it was time for us to go our separate ways. We agreed from the beginning that we wanted to use mediation because we wanted the process to be open, fair and cost effective. My ex located Attorney Green in Glastonbury, and we were impressed with the time and effort that she made to explain and clarify the similarities and differences between using an individual attorney's and using a mediator. Without going into great detail about our divorce, I can say that my ex and I were guided through the complexities of dividing our assets and making sure that our children would not be harmed by the process. Attorney Green demonstrated that she was impartial and committed to a fair and equitable process. Equally as important was the relationships that she has with her colleagues and other attorneys that specialize in specific areas of the law and such that she regularly conferenced with to make sure that the information that she was providing was accurate. Overall, we had a successful experience.

Divorce/Mediation
Angela was the right attorney for me, she was not afraid to tell me the truth while she guided me through a painful divorce. I'm glad someone recommended me to her and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a peaceful solution to a seperation/divorce.

Quick, Painless, and Extremely Knowledgeable!
I am so thankful for running across Atty. Green during my divorce process. Going through a divorce is so emotionally painful and even thinking about getting an attorney made me so nervous. Atty. Green has been such a blessing throughout the entire process. She is extremely knowledgeable and made the whole process quick and painless. She was more concerned about making sure the process went as painless as possible for my spouse and I rather than trying to bill us additional hours for unneeded work. Atty. Green has tremendous business ethics and I would absolutely recommend her for anyone searching for a divorce attorney. She's been a Godsend!
